We're not vegetarians but really enjoyed the food -- delicious Egyptian salad, sweet potato ravioli. There's no milk but there is fish so it's a great place to bring those vegan friends... we really enjoyed it. Great food. Yummy,.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in New York. You can get wild fish here (which is much healthier than farmed), whole grains, wonderful veggies, and it's delicious and nutritious at the same time. I love this restaurant.

great food, warm atmosphere.. the friendly neighborhood type. Food is served quickly and the service is friendly and enjoyable. The only thing lacking is good wine!

Mana serves consistently great food in a crowded atmosphere with fairly poor service. But the FOOD is what you come here for, particularly if you're a vegetarian, eat kosher-style, or otherwise interested in eating healthy, organic food. Start with great appetizers like sweet potato dumplings and really innovative tempeh and tofu sticks that look and sort of act like decadent mozzerella sticks but are so much healthier and tastier. Move on to really interesting treatments of tempeh, salmon, tofu, and seitan, cooked in a variety of ways and with fresh steamed veggies or greens-of-the-day on the side. Don't miss the apple or pear crisp for dessert - a sweet you can indulge in but not feel guilty for in the morning. Overall service is slow and generally inattentive, but it's still one of my favorites - for the food!
