I am a vegan and eat out alot. I find the food here to be very good and decent sized portions. The prices are a little high compared to "lower priced" places, but compared to the overpriced places like Candle 79 & Gobo where you get no food, this is almost as good quality and much more food. The seitan parmigiane and pumpkin ravioli are excellent. Also, the scallion pancake appetizer, is the best by far I've ever had. The desser t (not on menu right now) carob cake was perfection. The service is not always great, but it's good. And, it's not noisy and overcrowded usually. :)

Didn't know vegetables cost that much.. I would believe you if you told me that Mana was a fast-food chain. I would come here again for the fish. Appetizers didn't wow me. Tofu dessert recommended.

This is one of my favorite placed in New York. The food is so pure and wonderful. My only complaint would be the high prices. They now have an excellent wine list!

The first time I went here I had a terrific, friendly helpful waiter who made my experience a pleasure. Being an organic, vegan eater I was pleased w/ the menu. Although some of the dished lack some flavor it is still pleasing and fresh. I left w/ a good view of this place, looking forward to coming back again. The 2nd time however was a much different story. Our waitress dissappeared, not to be seen again, after bringing us our food; not asking us if everything was ok, if we needed another drink, or even if we'd like some pepper. The biggest turnoff was when one of the busboys brought us our check when my friend wasn't even done eating! We hadn't even been asked if we wanted dessert (which I wanted)! It was isanely rude; all the chairs were piled on the table, the busboy cleared our table w/ his bag on ready to leave; all the while my friend hadn't even finished her drink. She was made to chug her beer and wolf down her meal we paid so much for. A complete disgrace to food service.

We're not vegetarians but really enjoyed the food -- delicious Egyptian salad, sweet potato ravioli. There's no milk but there is fish so it's a great place to bring those vegan friends... we really enjoyed it. Great food. Yummy,.
