This simple place served us great food. It has fish as well as all the bean/veggie based dishes for strict vegetarians. I went for lunch on a Saturday and the staff was efficient. Prices are reasonable for clean sit down service. And the portions were huge.

The food is great for what it is - fresh and healthy. However the price increases are a bit out of control. I used to order all the time, but with the minimum delivery amount ($20 before tax and delivery) AND a delivery surcharge, I had to stop.

I will cry when I leave my apartment because I will no longer have this restaurant down the street from me. This is one of my favorite places to get affordable, creative, well-thought-out food that manages to be simple and healthy and fresh at the same time. I've never had anything bad here, though I do wake up craving the stuffed shitake mushroom appetizer sometimes. Try anything - you will not be disappointed (though the desserts might be TOO healthy for some.) The atmosphere is very chill here, in the summer they open the front, the waitstaff is friendly and helpful, and you can get an affordable glass of organic wine.

I first discovered Mana when I was a student at Columbia nearby. Because of its remote location on Amsterdam, it's easy to miss and has not been reviewed by most vegetarian restaurant reviewers. But they serve some of the freshest high quality food I have had in NYC. My favorite dishes are the pumkin ravioli, simple palate, mexican burrito, and kanten parfait. It is a truly guiltless yet delicious meal every time.

Some of the best organic food I've had in a while and for a pretty good price. The restaurant itself is nicely kept. It's a cute place. But the food, I love it... I've been craving it for days. Especially their salads, the greens are so fresh you can see and taste it.

There are some dishes here that are just delicious. My favorite, which is a special, is the miso black cod-Nobu move over. It is served with a millet-cauliflower mash that is like nothing I've tasted anywhere-yum. The Chinese greens are always fresh. Much better than cooking at home.
