Went there on a whim n was surprised with what I experienced. The food was beyond expectation, the service n the decor was excellent. The server had good knowledge of the ingredients. He answered all my needs since I have a lot of food allergies.Good to find this place. Will be going there regularly now.The server I forgot his name but was wearing a Mana Be Happy T-shirt which was so appropriate...left there happy n a big tip to the server.Thanks.

I visit NYC several times a year and always make a point of having a meal at Mana's. I have yet to be disappointed. I especially love their vegetable gommae, pumpkin ravioli, and steamed veggie dumplings. The menu has many excellent organic vegan dishes, with none attempting to be meat substitutes, in contrast to what I have found in many other NYC veggie restaurants. As organic food goes in NYC, the prices are reasonable. For macrobiotic folks, there are also some fish dishes. I have yet to be disappointed in the food at this restaurant and am surprised by the negative reviews.

The place is not crowded, table here and there, but the service is still very slow and waiters are not helpful at all. Food is not fresh, the fish tasted funny and over dried . Overall satisfaction pretty low. Doubt I'll be going back ever again.

Average food. I had Okanomaki pizza and Edamame. Tiny glass of wine for 12 $ hmm.. . I will not go back there again, not if looking for a good time and good food. The Edamame was okaish, didn't enjoy the pizza though. Slow service, atmosphere -boring. not my type of restaurant.

Bad food, worst service, all I have to say about Mana

I visited Mana twice already, thought maybe first time was an accident, but turns out it was not. Their appetizers are deep fired, unhealthy. The yakisoba has too much oil on it. plus it is not organic. The sushi tastes like a mix of sand and dirt. My mistake coming here again! Why should I spend my time, money and nerves on something that is not even tasty, I don't know. The service is really bad, dirty dishes were left on the table for half an hour, when finally the waitress arrived and gave us a bill, she took half of it. Not going to go back there again, stupied waste of otherwise pleasant evening

My wife loves organic food and thanks to her we've been to nearly every organic restaurants in the city. This time it was Mana. We got to sit next to cold glass doors, the wind was blowing from crack. The waiter refused to change our table, because other tables were for larger groups ( ? ) I ordered noodles with veggies and my wife got simple plate. After 10 minutes or so her dish was already on the table but not mine. We both waited for my dish, when it finally arrived her food was already cold. My wife complained for service, waiter smiled and blamed the kitchen for delay. My dish was a strange mix of noodles and veggies plus too much oil. All I could taste was oil, gross . Left the food almost untouched. Telma's dish was beans and rice with some greens, very simple and easy to make it at home. Nothing special. We were charged $$$ and left the place with no intention to go back Ever again
