Useless delivery and rude service
As the only Indian food you can really order in my part of the 'hood, Mamtaj Mahal is okay to decent. I can't speak for the meat dishes as I'm a vegetarian, however, the vegetarian dishes are all pretty good American versions of Indian food and I've pretty much enjoyed my meals from here. So it's a shame I'm not ordering from them any longer. I'm tired of receiving half of my order, 3/4 of my order, and once 1/4 of my entire order...but never my full order. In the dozen or so times I've ordered via Seamless Web, they've forgotten everything from garlic naan to samosas to entire dishes. Calling them is useless, because they almost never pick up the phone, and when they do they've told me that they sent my order...once even hanging up on me. So order...but be wary that you stand the chance of not getting your entire meal and not being refunded or credited for it. I've just contacted Seamless Web to try for another option of refund.

Not recommended
My wife ordered here one time and will never again - the food was that unappetizing. The dishes lacked flavor and were extremely greasy. Poor excuse for Indian food - we would not recommend ordering from here.

Great Eats & Great Deal!
Such a great find! I always order the tandori chicken (enough to split for two people), order of naan, the chickpea apetizer. So good. :)

Terrible, but no other option in the area
As far as quality food goes, this place is terrible. They consistently deliver food that is way too greasy, like you can see the oil just sitting there. Unfortunately it's the only place in town. They should be ashamed. If they cared even in the smallest sense, they could turn a bigger profit. Terrible cooks and terrible business.

Guys...Seriously.
In general I love indian food, anything spicy and full of flavor. If that's what you're looking for, this isn't it. Pieces of meat drenched in inches of grease with clumps of curry like ingredient that lacks any spice or flavor.

too much milk
Not very good. I'm giving up on indian food in williamsburg. There was a really distinct taste of milk in my sag paneer and other dishes. I will not return.

It will do..
Given that this is the only Indian restaurant near Bedford Ave, it will do. Certainly not up to par with the places on Indian row in the city. The food lacks in flavor, the atmosphere is so-so, and the prices are a bit inflated..but that's the general rule near Bedford. However if you're looking for a quick fix to your Indian craving, this will do in a pinch.
