    Great Value!

It's true the staff can be too cool for school, but that shouldn't keep you away from this great deal of a restaurant. You can get your main dish with one, two, or three sides, but beleive me they dole it out in such portions that you probably won't need more than one, or two at the most. The food is delicious American, like fried chicken, salmon, macaroni and cheese, butternut squash, greens, and so on. You can get a SERIOUS amount of food and a beer for $15. The atmosphere is relaxed, so it's totally worth it if you just want to chill out some time and eat a lot of tasty food.

    Best Fries I've Ever Had

A friend and I stumbled upon this lovely little place on evening and were amazed at how great the place was. We both got burgers and fries and can I just say that they were hoenstly the BEST french fries I have ever had in my entire life.

    Don't believe the hype

Mama's is setup sort of buffet style where the food is all out on a counter and you choose what you want. Be prepared for food that's been sitting out and soaking in oil to compensate for the staleness. Not good. The mash potatoes are runny and the meat loaf leaves a lot to be desired. Don't expect good service.

    Big ups from the south

I am from the South where fried chicken is serious business. And as Southern cuisine is my absolute favorite i was wary to try Mama's. I was blown away. Mama's fried chicken ranks in the top 3 best I've ever had. Mashed taters rock. Mac and cheese soothes my fat soul. Only thing I haven't liked is the green beans. They were more like haricot vert than the simmering for days with ham hock green beans that i love. But all around this place is flippin sexy.

I hope you have a microwave

Good portions. Well made, traditional recipies. Mama's clearly has enough regular clientele to warrant being somewhat rude to any new comers. Mama come on - you're not THAT cool. But hey your food's pretty good! Delivery is always served cold.

    Great food, fast service

Maybe it's because I live just a few blocks away, but delivery has always been really fast for me and the person on the phone is never rude. Don't complain about the hotness of the food as most of the food is meant to be eaten at room temperature, according to the menu. The salmon is fantastic and you get a huge serving. I love this place! I also like the cutie hipster deliverymen and women.

Fried Chicken and a side of Hotness

All I have to say is I want the Mama's counter boy with the beenie and scruff to adopt me. And the food ain't too shabby either.
