A Little Pricey, But Good
Just went there for the first time...good ambiance, mariachi band, nice lighting, cozy. The guac is very good, but the chips are nothing special. Chicken fajitas were good, but on par with that of other cheaper restaurants. Pomegranate marquerita was $10 bucks and melted too fast, but was pretty strong. Overall, almost as expensive as other high end Mexican joints, but not as good.

Best Mexican in the city
In the past 10 yrs of eating mexican food in the city, I personally feel this is the best. The food is really good. Plus the decor is ver y nice & the band on Friday's (perhaps other nights as well), is very entertaining as well. Must try the guacamole - ask them to make it spicy!

I don't write reviews
I don't write reviews. I never have. And after this one, I never will. But I think you should definitely go to Mama Mexico. I have been to every mexican restaurant in the city. Name it and I've been there. But Mama Mexico is the best of them all. I know you are probably reading this and comtemplating going, but I really don't care if you go. I am solely writing this review to give honor to this restaurant. It is the best Mexican food around. Peace out.

The food excellent, waited 15 mins sevic
The guac sooo good the food excelent, sizes huge. Service left a lot to be desired. Go for the food and margaritas not the service.

Completely overpriced and not worth it!
I agreed to go to this restaurant because a friend of mine wanted to go. I love Mexican food but this place was overpriced and overrated. Not only were the margaritas weak and small, but they were expensive as well. As for the food, it was decent, but certainly nothing to rave about. I have had better food at those Tex-Mex fast food take outs. Bottom line: if you're going to be spending that kind of money, you're better off spending it somewhere else.

Mama, please take me home now...
This place is quite loud. Only good point is that the extensive list of margaritas is nice, and they are fairly strong. $13 for a bowl of Guacamole that was bathed in lime juice however was unrequired. Prices for overpriced food weren't included on our menus, so I guessed on a meal that made budgetary sense. My enchilladas were bland too.

Bad service, great food
We have eaten here many times and have never received good service; however we continue to return because of the great food and margaritas. We recommend this restaurant, but you should expect less than adequate service.
