Mama Maria's, next to Sal's Pizzeria on Court street is an amazing find. The pasta is fresh, all of the sauces are richly flavored, and the lasagne may be the BEST I have ever eaten on either side of the Atlantic Ocean. The food to price ratio represents, a good value, not inexpensive, but reasonably priced for the quyality of the foods served. This rrestaurant could compete with ANY in Little Italy, or Naples, Italy for that matter ! BRAVO

I went to this restaurant for my birthday with 9 of my friends last night. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the owner was very accommodating. The Sangria was good as well. I highly recommend this place. Plus the ambiance made you feel like you were truly in Brooklyn.

Every time we eat here, we have a great time and great food. I love Pasta Night and like to try something new each time - for the price there is no better deal. I look forward to the delicious olive dip they serve with a warm bread basket. So yummy I could eat it all day. John and the rest of the staff always greet us with open (and friendly) arms. The staff has always been very pleasant and attentive. Can't wait to go back! We love Mama Maria's!

Looking for a new pizza place in my hood and we called Sal's/Mama Maria's for a large cheese pie and some pasta ala vodka. I'm not really a critical person about pizza - most of it tastes the same but this was a special level of abysmal. But the pasta... Never had vodka sauce that tasted of fish and I'll happily eat Chef Boyardee so I don't turn my nose up at anything. Delivery was fast - so that's a positive. Kind of like that old joke - the food is poor but there's a lot of it.
