A Great Place for Social Gatherings
I went to this restaurant for my birthday with 9 of my friends last night. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the owner was very accommodating. The Sangria was good as well. I highly recommend this place. Plus the ambiance made you feel like you were truly in Brooklyn.

Our Favorite Place
Every time we eat here, we have a great time and great food. I love Pasta Night and like to try something new each time - for the price there is no better deal. I look forward to the delicious olive dip they serve with a warm bread basket. So yummy I could eat it all day. John and the rest of the staff always greet us with open (and friendly) arms. The staff has always been very pleasant and attentive. Can't wait to go back! We love Mama Maria's!

Dear Lord, NO!
Looking for a new pizza place in my hood and we called Sal's/Mama Maria's for a large cheese pie and some pasta ala vodka. I'm not really a critical person about pizza - most of it tastes the same but this was a special level of abysmal. But the pasta... Never had vodka sauce that tasted of fish and I'll happily eat Chef Boyardee so I don't turn my nose up at anything. Delivery was fast - so that's a positive. Kind of like that old joke - the food is poor but there's a lot of it.

Great home cook italian dishes
I just love this place anytime im in cobble hill its a great place to get delicious food one of the best in brooklyn and the price is just right

home cooked, delicious food
mama maria's is like going to somebody's grandma's house for delicious home cooked italian food. everything was very good - the pasta al forno was great! it's a very comfortable setting, gracious service, good food.

Homemade everything!
Had dinner with my wife and friends and was totally impressed at how fresh everything was. Homemade bread, pasta, mozzarella and desserts!! How can you beat that! This is an authentic italian family run business. The prices were pretty reasonable for the area and the food was excellent.
