I've been ordering from here since Saigon Grill stopped delivering. They have similar food (although, no beef&green papaya salad!) and the prices are much better also. The delivery is quick, but I was put off a little by the woman taking my order recently; I couldn't find my CC and it took me about 20-30 seconds to find it, but she was rushing me and saying she was really busy, can't I just pay with cash... hello? come on.. I'm busy... busy busy... etc. Jeez! The Lobak appetizer is a little scary, stay away from it if you like "American" Asian food. The Roti Canai is delish, and is an appetizer! That's why it's a small portion! I try to order lunch usually, because I don't like have to pay more for the dishes I like at dinner (mango chicken.. they all cost the same at lunch, but much more than the other chicken dishes at dinner!). Also, the samosas are nothing to write home about, but it's great to be able to get Pad Thai and satisfy a samosa fix from the same place! I always thought MG was owned by the SG people, but if that is so, why aren't they having the same delivery issues?

Once my boyfriend and I discovered this gem, we've been back many times and recommended it over and over. Everything we've ever tried has been amazing. We think it's the best place in the neighborhood. And it is CHEAP!

Malaysia Grill on the UWS has amazing food-the best sesame chicken, shrimp lomein, chicken and broccoli, and rice on the west side! The service is always super friendly and efficient most of the time. The setting is very casual and not overly loud. The prices are slightly high, but hey, it's NYC, and for this quality, I'm willing to pay the few extra bucks for good, quality food!

Not sure what the other reviewers are carping about. This place (formerly the Sigon Grill, with the same owners I understand) is an inexpensive hole in the wall asian place with excellent spicy seafood noodle soup (#8) and very good mango chicken, among other things. I live a few blocks away and eat here all teh time.

This outta be the most authentic small unpretentious malaysian restauarant in UWS. Almost all their dishes are so yummy - Roti canai, Mee Goreng, Pad thai, Chicken in shrimp paste sauce and Kari Ayam are our favorities! We order in from here every week, without fail. They wait staff is also very nice as opposed to neighboring restaurants.
