This place is soon kickin out all those mediocre Bangladeshi joints that fooled neighbours giving out worthless $10.00 low quality food specials . Elite customers have started to realize there is much much better food in this neighborhood . Thanks to MALAI MARK E for coming down to 6th street to give out their best options to satisfy their customers . Everything you eat here is perfectly spiced and tasty . will surely reccomend . Their lunch specials catered to impress is a great deal indeed .

Obviously none of you have actually eaten real Indian food, made by a friend's mother or family member. This is heavily salted and over-spiced and expensive rubbish. Yet another Bangladeshi joint on 6th Street pretending to produce the real deal. Oh, and note to all of you, whenever someone peppers their review with this

Ordered delivery on a Monday night and was quoted 30-40 mins. an hour later I called to check on the order and was told it was out for delivery. Food finally arrived an hour and 40mins later and was COLD.

The food was fab. If you like spicy, we highly recommend the Vindaloo and the Lal Maas (spicy but really flavorful) but if you don't like things too hot - order a bit of raita on the side to help cool down your palate. And the cost for 2: 2 entrees, 2 appetizers, naan, complimentary papadum with chutneys, 2 large TAJ to wash it down - all in a total of $75 - mmmm yummy and reasonably priced!.

Modern decor. Cauliflower appetizer was tasty. Cheese and tomato dish was so spicy that it was inedible. Lamb and spinach wad equally inedible due to extreme spice. Service was indifferent at best. Tried once and only once.

I have spent quite a bit of time in India and have been looking for Indian food in NYC on the same par. Nothing ever quite seemed to rival the original until I tried Malai Marke. The food is sublime with the spices being fresh and distinctive. This is Indian food that is true to its roots, not the normal greasy sludge one seems to find on 6th Street. Dine in is good and I have also had delivery and have no complaints about either. Their butter chicken is the best I've ever had. They are doing a bang up business, so if you go, make sure you reserve. Enjoy every bite -- it's well worth every penny!

We enjoyed an extremely tasty meal and excellent service. The portions were substantial, the prices reasonable, and we will certainly be eating here again.
