Five for tapas and dinner. Tasty food. Attentive and friendly service. No surprise nyc prices. If you like authentic spanish food, this is the place.

The first time we went to Malaga and sat in a booth at the front of the restaurant, the food was so so, but the service was good. Our waitress was very sweet. Everytime we have gone back there the service has been getting worse and worse, and the owner is always in a tizzy. They take their time to seat you and also to serve you. The food is the only Spanish restaurant in our area, so in a way if you love Spanish food and do not want to go far, you're stuck. The food is medioicre.

A former favorite. Our last three visits were met with consistently poor service with different waitstaff. There must be a pattern. No excuse for forgetting to serve appetizers and side dishes not only at our table but those next to us. And if the waiter ever came back to the table to ask if we wanted another pitcher of sangria, the restaurant may have mad eeven more money. Adios Malaga, I shall not return.

This is by far one of my husband's and my favorite restaurants in the city. The food is excellent and the decor is very authentic-Spanish. I absolutely love the croquettas here, and always scarf them down when we get them! The waitstaff is friendly and attentive. We both highly recommend Malaga for a good meal anytime.

My mother has been a customer here for years and when she needed to pick a restaurant for 13 of us she remembered that they had a back room. We had a 7 PM reservation on a Saturday night and the place was not packed. It took over an hour to get bread (cold) and water and our dinners took over 2 hours. We filled up on Sangria, the best part of the meal by far. When we complained to the waiter, we were told it was "our fault for eating with so many people". Huh? It wasn't worth the 2 hour wait for dinner, marginal food at best.

The staff is friendly and warm. The food is so so. I always get the garlic sauce dishes but their sauce is always burnt. For Spanish food it is the only one of its kind in the area.
