The best red velvet ever!
I am still in shock. Everythig was perfect from the selection to the delivery. I am so thankful that the customer service topped the whole process. The cake was for a farwell party of a co-worker who was more than pleased but satisfied all of the staff without a crumb in sight...thanks again for the best and moist red velvet ever

bad red velvet
the red velvet cupcakes had a citrusy tang, were dry, and hard to keep eating. If they were called something else maybe it wouldn't have been as bad but the fact that I am a red velvet lover and they sold me the product that they did, I was extremely disappointed. The only reason I gave them 2.5 stars is my boyfriend said he really enjoyed his butter cake cupcake topped with chocolate icing. From now on, I will go elsewhere.

Raspbery Cake
I went to their bakery and purchased a few items. I was not pleased with the cookies or the rasbery cake. The cookies were hard and the cake was not fresh. I must say the chocolate and strawberry cakes were very good. I was disappointed because for the price I paid I should not get an old slice of cake.

It was pretty okay
I went for the "best red velvet in the city" and ordered the red velvet cupcake. Maybe it's better by the slice than in a cupcake, but I was unimpressed. The cake was dense and slightly dry, the frosting too sugary. I've had better, more moist red velvet cake elsewhere. Cute atmosphere and decor, though. I might go back to try more, since they're around the corner.

bad attitude
while the cake is ok - the servers' attitudes, on the phone and in person, are dismal. rude, rude, rude. i'm sorry but if you're upset by the time you get the first bite, nothing will be sweet enough to wash the bitter taste out of your mouth.

Take my cake has the best red velvet cupcakes. They are soo moist and melt in your mouth.

Great custom Bday Cake!
Just used the 117th St. location for my daughter's bday cake and it turned out great! Everyone at the party thought it looked great and we got many compliments on the taste. It was also HUGE. When I went in to order, had to wait a while but the person who finally helped me was actually very good and I was pretty specific about what I wanted- they did a great job uting- including the exact colors, shape, and picture of my little girl. I would def. recommend them to anyone. Price was expensive but not insane. The only thing I would suggest is that they include a service to deliver cakes since this is what the other Manhattan bakeries do and it's a lot more convenient. 117th Store is really cute inside also
