Arriving on a cold wet Friday morning from the UK, we had just three nights and four days to sample the delights of NYC--thank goodness for the Majestic. They made ordering and eating easy and enjoyable. Got to eat Pancakes, Spanish Omelette, Toast, Bacon and Egg on Bagel and Fresh Fruit Salad. All were deliciously fresh and well cooked. We will return!!

Before going to see a play in the afternoon we decided to have lunch. After reading the reviews concerning the Majestic Deli we all (6)wanted to give it a try. We were not disapointed. They truly have a winning team behind that counter. Not only did the food look good and taste even better but orders were taken promptly and served quickly . Our selection of Pastrami on rye, quesadilas (vegtable, chicken), and Calif. Wraps were outstanding. We will all be back again when in town.

We scheduled a tour that picked us up across the street from this Majestic Deli. So, of course we needed to use the restroom and get some snacks before the tour. Our tour guide Tom suggested the Majestic as a place to go. So, we went in used the facilities came downstairs and purchased some cookies and snacks for the tour. The food we got from them was very fresh and great tasting. Now for the bad part... When we returned from our tour we were hungry, so we went to that same deli to use the restroom and maybe this time stay and eat some of their great food we had already sampled. We were on our way upstairs where the restrooms are located, when one of the employees stopped us and said "No service upstairs!". So we said what... and he repeated "No serice upstair, restroom for customers only". Now how do they know if we were going to be a customer after we relieved ourselves in their restroom? We did the same thing last year with no trouble. I know I will never go there again when I am in town. How can you identify a potential customer or a vagrant wanting to use the restroom? That is very poor practice for any business.

I work across the street from this Deli, and usued to go there often. Although i agree with most of what everyone said, the service is "a little TOO friendly" everytime i go there i get harrased in spanish. Luckly i understand what they are saying which i am guessing most dont and thats why they dont understand that their being friendly is a double meaning. I'm hoping it was just to me and wont happen to anyone else because they are a great little deli-minus that key point.

I went here in the Summer and I am telling you now you will never get a better vanilla cheescake ANYWHERE!!! We went down a little side street and out on a main street round the corner we found the Majestic Deli!!! I was still a little sickly so I just a had a bag of dorito chips. My Mom had a Creamcheese bagel my Dad had a cheese burger. I felt real sick by then but as soon as my Mom had given me a bit of her bagel I felt fine!!! I ate most of her bagel and some of my Dads burger!!! We went back there the next day and had some vanilla cheescake and I thought the waistband of my pants were gonna explode!!! It was HEAVENLY!!! I thought I had died and gone to heaven!!! I could of regergertated it and eaten it a million times over!!! The service was great to!!! We went back again for a light snack and it was DELISH!!! I went there last month and OH MY GODDDDDDD!! the cheescake is the best I've ever had. The food in general is good but that's the best of it. Actually my friend is coming to Dominican Republic in a week and I already told him that he MUST bring me a whole one!

I recently went to the Majestic Deli with my family and boy was it great I have never had such a great meal. We ate lunch and i personally ordered there panini's (a must try at the majestic deli) my children got chesseburgers and they too enjoyed them. My wife got a salad from the create you own salad bar (which we later found out is closed on weekends but no problem salad was great). We enjoyed it so much we returned for dinner that night and breakfast the next day. I personally reccomend the Rueben (i have never eaten such a superb sandwhich.) and for dessert the cheesecake was the best we have ever tried. Breakfast was also very good we all had a round of pancakes wich were extraordinary.
