A great place
The food here is excellent - especially the lemon grass chicken and fried plantain - and very reasonably priced. They have a great bar, and the service is decent for NYC. It's not hard for 4 people to order apps, entrees, and drinks for under $25 per person. Great!

Great Experience
I was with a goup of 16 on a saturday night and walked into Tacu Tacu with no reservation. The staff took 10 minutes to accomodate us on the second floor. The service was quick and very good. The food was excellent, we all loved the spices they used. The cost was even better, very affordable for the quantity and quality of the food. Definitely recommend this place for a large group, the atmosphere was great.

has this ever been a good idea?
when has there ever been a restaurant that successfully pulls off having two separate menus (not to mention, LARGE menus) of completely different foods? never. this place is no exception.

not good
After reading the reviews and menus my bf and I decided to try it. The decor and atmosphere needed updating. The food and service was not good at all. I tried the grilled squid, ( as recommended by someone from this site) it didnt look grilled, it was tough and chewy. I had the chicken rolando, the chicken was rubbery and looked like it was previously frozen. The spinach mash potatoes - was mash potatoes with green food dye. My boyfriend had salmon with some red sauce. the fish was over cooked and the red sauce tasted like Prego's tomato sauce. The waiter, after serving out meal, never came back.

Undiscovered Treasure
I don't know why I'm writing this review. This place is so great and I have been going there for years. You never have to wait for a table and that is sort of a crime. The food is excellent - try the lemongrass chicken (a steal for $8.50), the cha cha cha, the saigon cube steak, the mango chicken - the presentation of each dish is a real treat. The prices simply can't be beat, especially considering that other lousy fusion place down the street. Go check this place out!

Yummy!
I have been going here for years and never have I been dissapointed. The cube steak saigon is one of my favorites. The appetizers are all fun and really yummy! I've brought many friends here and it has instantly become one of their favorites as well. The great prices really can't be beat especially that the food is always so tasty and fresh. Their drinks are really good to. You never have to wait for a table which is a plus too. I often wonder why I dont wait being that the food is great. but hey- betta for me! you all can keep going to that other place down the block for that crappy asian fusion if u'd like!

Cube Steak Saigon
The Cube Steak Saigon is the best thing I've had that had to do with Steak oh My god it is soo good. I highly reccomend that to any one who is a steak lover. My friends and I always go out to eat there, They should know my name by now
