I heard this place was supposed to have great cupcakes as evidenced by the long lines people wait on to get it. My line wasn't too long but after the wait instead of delicious all I got was disappointed. I had the red velvet cupcake and it was small for the price, very dry and not really all that tasty. Tried again a second time thinking maybe it was an off day for the bakery but nope same result second time around. Makes me not want to try anything else they offer. I don't get why there's such hype about this place. My money is better spent at another place that sells a better product like Crumbs. Only postive was staff was friendly and decor was decent.

I was so excited when they opened a magnolia in this location near my workplace because I've been dying to try a famous magnolia bakery. I became even more excited when I saw a line wrapped around the block. So I got on line and waited for my red velvet cupcake. And.. I wasn't wowed. The cupcake itself was not moist enough and was too crumbly to the touch. The frosting was only okay, perhaps a little too sweet. I also found it strange that they put my small lone cupcake in a cupcake box fit for two. Talk about going green; Magnolia Bakery definitely is not. The only plus that I found was that the service was very friendly and nice.
