My Favorite Diner
This diner is a little out of my way, yet I still keep coming back. To start, if you eat there for diner you get a wonderful bread basket. I usually order one of the specials and I'm always satisfied. I've liked their roast beef special, their linguine with fish cakes, and the meatloaf. All the soups are delicious, too they taste homemade. For breakfast I highly recommend the eggs benedict... I happen to think they're the best in town. I wasn't as impressed with the turkey dinner special. I found the meat a little too dry for my taste and I'm not a fan of apples in my stuffing... but others might like that. I agree with another review, the orange juice is to die for. It's freshly squeezed. Also, I find the service excellent. I always feel taken care of and my husband and I stay for a few more minutes to read our books. Beware, if you plan to visit the diner on Sundays, it's packed. Luckily this diner is pretty roomy. Oh and one more thing, if you're like me you probably leave a lot of food on your plate. Just ask to take it with you. The food here tastes great when it is reheated. Provecho!

Best diner in the city
My boyfriend and I LOVE this diner. Not only do we love this diner but so do my parents. We all live in the neighborhood and go to the Madison almost every weekend. My boyfriend loves the eggs over easy and I love their fresh fruit salad with cottage cheese as well as my boyfriend. The food is fresh and wonderful. It is also open late for you late night munchers. However, don't be fooled by the cookie assortment on the menu because the cookies are quite large. Only one cookie is needed per table. The juice is very fresh sqeezed, oh and they have good oatmeal. I would suggest the Madison for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even a late night snack. ENJOY!!

Enjoyable Diner
If you're in the mood for breakfast this is the place to be. Good portions, fresh food, and excellent service. Despite the plethora of options in the area I found myself returning there every day for breakfast. The orange juice is freshly squeezed, and although its the one item I felt was a bit too pricey, its well worth it if you really enjoy juice.

Fit for the gods
Took refuge & comfort here once after being stood up once, long ago. [Quality comfort food too...] Most excellent staff with fresh fare to offer. Highly recommend all that you'll find within.

It's a DINER, folks...
Don't let the name fool you. It's a diner, just a diner - that being said, the food is really good. If you need a place to go after a night out drinking, or breakfast on a weekend, this is the place. Just don't expect "restaurant" ambiance or service. It is what it is.

So so
I went for dinner here on a Sunday night, the restaurant was not busy and yet we had to ask four times for water. They gave me a hard time for wanting to sit while waiting for my friends to arrive even though there was plenty of open seats. They brought my friend the wrong omelet and as soon as we were done eating, the manager asked us to leave because another party was waiting for the table, despite the fact that there were plenty of open booths. Good food, but would never go back because of how we were treated!

Great Place to Order from
We often order in food for the people in my office. We have always been please with food from Madison Restaurant, as well as with the accuracy of the orders and the speed at which it is delivered.
