The dishes used to have a lot of taste. Now they have cut back on their costs and their dishes have no taste whatsoever. I wouldn't recommend this place anymore.

Before you get a chance to check the prices on this web site, they will have risen. Chopped steak platter in low $20 range, for example, can be beaten in quality service, price, and ambiance by any of the best midtown steakhouses. This is a diner!

I love their French Onion soup. They add a dash of vinegar. Never had it that way before but I googled and found lots of recipes made that way. Gobs of cheese on top and lots of onions. Onion rings were perfect by my standards. Thick slices of onion covered with just the right amount of breading, not too heavy and perfectly done. Basic breakfast was fine. Service was great! Attractive, bright, cheery, clean, big windowed, corner location.

This used to be a good diner. Picked up a Greek salad, terrible, Wilted lettuce, will never go here again...

The food is good. The size of the dishes are OK----but they have been reduced lately. The service is poor. If you complain to the managers they do nothing. The waiters act like they are doing you a favor. The staff needs training.

They charge extra if you breathe! I ordered a chicken sandwich with bacon and cheese and they added $8.00! I live in the hood and will let everybody know.

The cost of a chopped steak platter, for example, has gone from $15.95 to over $20. Everything else has moved up too.
