Great Indian (I mean Pakistani? Bangladeshi?)
I have never been disappointed by Madina. I've only ordered takeout because the eat-in space doesn't look so great and I don't eat out much, but the food is some of the best Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi food I've had. And, if this helps to counter the negative review here, I've asked two subcontinental cab drivers what restaurants they recommend around here and both immediately told me Madina.

the horror
have read good things about this place in local blogs. Must be very old postings. The chicken samosa and vegetable samosa I had for takeaway were possibly the worst I've ever had. Soggy. Greasy. Chicken bits dried out. Greasy. Potato filling mushy and oddly sour. Greasy. Just recalling it makes me shudder. But hey, it was only two bucks.

Great and cheap!
If you want a quality indian meal for less then $10, then this is the place. The spices are perfect, the food is fresh, and the lunch special is the best in the neighborhood.
