Above and beyond
We are 3 friends who visited our grown kids in NYC in early Nov., but wanted to have an early Thanksgiving dinner with them. Jermaine and crew at Madeline's provided an absolutely delicious turkey dinner with all the trimmings during a less busy time at the Cafe. They allowed us the space and time to enjoy our meal with our families. The cranberry pineapple walnut sauce was fantastic...we want the recipe! The sauteed vegetables were cooked just right, the chestnut stuffing and sweet potatoes were great, and the turkey was tender and delicious. Dessert included ample portions of pumpkin, apple and pecan pie. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and are so appreciative of the effort they put into making this dinner happen for us. Great place, and we plan to go back on our next trip to NYC.

Fresh food, good prices and clean
I have been to Madeline's Cafe a number of times and always enjoy the fresh, healthy offerings they have. The salmon is delicious and the various salads and chicken entrees are always handy to have in the frig. The deserts are fresh baked and yummy. Madelines has also catered some business meetings at my office and they send delicious sandwiches on a platter. The bread is fresh and crusty and the sandwiches are all a cut above the usual. People love to take the leftovers home. I highly recommend Madelines either for a meal or a catered party or meeting.

Stale Cookies
Sometimes the desserts are good, sometimes it's a crap shoot. Bought cookies here today, hard as rocks. Obviously stale, because they are usually soft and chewy. Brownies are very tasty although sometimes a little too gooey to the point where they feel either like fudge, or just undercooked. Get this Beef Tenderloin/Arugula, and Boursin cheese sandwich that is just terrific!

good value
I had the quiche with a side of salad, it was a good value and I would have expected to pay closer to $10 elsewhere in the area, where I only paid $5.50.
