they're still not friendly. coffee was ok... macaroons are pretty good but nothing exceptional. nice little cafe but they know how to ruin your experience with their services. i'd go back for more macaroons if its on the way.

The older reviews talk about not caring about their customers ... if so, they've REALLY come around! They start taking care of you the minute you cross the threshold! The coffee here is great. My favorite item is there Chocolate Almond Croissant ... super gooey and chocolatey on the inside, perfect croissant outside. Available in both large and small sizes. Has a great atmosphere!

Always thought this place was too expensive for what you get, and tonight I found out the service problems I've read about are true. The girl behind the counter sold me coffee and a macaroon to stay - I told her this and she understood perfectly - then wouldn't let me sit at one of the tables in the back, directing me to a ratty little couch against the wall. It was 25 degrees out, so I couldn't exactly take my coffee to the park, and it was a half-hour before closing. All I wanted to do was sit down and read for a half-hour. I'll never go back.

Really lovely "salon de thé" as we say in France. Cozy place with delicious macarons. Great variety in flavors. Perfect for a treat or for breaksfast (deliciously decadent almond chocolate croissant + hot chocolate is a killer combo...and not only calories speaking!).
