Phenomenal!
Honestly one of the best experiences we ever had! We went there for dinner, the food was delicious and rich in flavor! The service was warm a friendly. Our waitress was amazing, she was all smiles and had great recommendations! It's a great place to go with friends or on a date. They don't take reservations for small groups but it's worth the wait! Overall great experience, we will definitely go again!

Wonderful Experience
Macondo is a hidden gem. I had such a fulfilling experience there with such an attentive and knowledgeable staff accompanied by fantastic and unique cuisine that kept me hungry for more. The fish tacos were incredible! They had cream cheese and peaches....who would have thought? The menu is so unique but simply amazing. I'm so glad I found this place-- it will definitely be a regular spot for my friends and I.

drinks only!
Buyer Beware: Food at Macondo is sub-par. The mojitos were good, but that is about it. Short ribs were flavorless, we had to send back an octopus salad that managed to be both bland and fishy at the same time. We replaced unsuccessful dish #1 with a scallop ceviche that tasted as if it was soaked in battery acid and not lemon juice. for the grand finale, we ordered a "paella special" - which was the highlight of the meal (not saying much beyond that it was edible and had some taste). Here's the kicker: the bill comes and the paella was $52 bucks! ($26/person). Our waiter had failed to provide us with this pertinent detail and we were in shock as everything else on the menu averages about $12. We explained to the nice waiter that his duping us was not acceptable. This led to an encounter with the manager who did not ameliorate our displeasure with the entire experience whatsoever. Do not eat at this restaurant.

I WILL be coming back
Absolutely wonderful restaurant. The staff was very friendly. Drinks were awsome. I've tried the mojito but my new favorite drink HAS to be the tamarindo tequila YUM! And the food...oh my goodness. Everything was delicious...so well seasoned and fresh. And for everyone complaining about portions...it's a TAPAS restaurant. I love the fact that not everything is brought out at once so you are able to fully enjoy each dish. Once you've finished the first dish your delighted by the next in perfect timing. The bacalo arepa is AWSOME. Macondo's menu is a wondferul flavorful mix of Spanish and Latin American dishes. There is no doubt I will be going back. The best meal I've had for some time.

Delicious but too expensive
I went here for dinner, and although the food and drinks were quite delectable, the bill was ridiculously high. Worth it if you've gone dollars to spend, but not worth it if you're the kind of person who is looking for a delicious but inexpensive meal.
