Best Ribs, Period!
If you truly love BBQ, you need to try Mabel's! Good pulled pork, and incredible ribs.! Atmosphere was fun, too.

Best meal in nyc and fun atmosphere!
My husband loves good bbq - we're from missouri and have great kansascity and st.louis choices. The brisket was fantastic, the slaw great and he thought it was amazing. My daughter is a vegetarian and absolutely love the vegan sloppy joes. Atmosphere so fun and great service. Go to Mables!

OMG...so good!
Mable's is one of the best places in NYC for BBQ. I visited this spot last weekend for my birthday with my family and truly enjoyed my food experience. The pulled pork is my favorite along with the potato salad and collard greens. The brisket is to die for!

Good value, great ribs
Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon (they now open at 3pm for dinner). You place your order on one side, get a number, and they bring your food directly to your table. Grab a drink from the bar before sitting down. I had the Organic Ale on tap (yummy!). The sauce they use on the ribs is fantastic -- a secret recipe that not even the owner's husband knows! (At least according to the bartender.) My boyfriend liked the pulled pork. We tried the mac & cheese (good) and the collard greens (average). The value was very good, we thought, for our meal and drinks. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We'll go back if we're in Williamsburg.

Decent Barbeque
The ribs are good. However, after that its all downhill. First of all, there are NO GOOD SIDES! There are NO mashed potatoes, baked potatoes or french fries,. really? is it that hard to make a baked potato or potato of some kind. second, the corn bread, which is like a thousand dollars, sucks. third, the greens are ridiculously over salted (both times ive had them) and the other sides arent that good either. ...honestly, its wierd. fette sau has the same problem. whats going on? you guys are in nyc. you really wanna go half-ass with it and think you can compete? the truth is, when everything is factored in, brooklyn bowl is kicking their a** in terms of good barbeque, and they're a freaking bowling alley. but the ribs are good, and the beer is good, and the relaxed vibe is always nice...but on a cold night, give me some hot potatoes with my meat man...

Great Pulled Pork, Great Scene
Came by around 8 on Saturday night and it was packed! Two highlights were the pulled pork (damn, damn good!) and the mint julep. Hadn't had one in awhile and it was super busy, so I had to wait for it but the bartender was a super nice guy. place seemed a lot more laid back then most Williamsburg. will be back.
