2 hours for delivery and no apology
Delivery took two hours and they did nothing to ameliorate the situation.

Pretty good, but too expensive
The BF and I thought we'd try something new over our old (upscale-ish) Chinese standby for Friday night take out. We were mostly disappointed. The quality of the food was on par, but the prices were much higher. Comparatively, it was a poor value. The Crispy Chicken in Ginger - yummy, but yikes! it costs $15. Spring rolls $5 - 2 yummy, but tiny rolls. House fried rice $8.50 - this would have been good value if it wasn't completely bland. The "Famous" Spicy Kung-Pao Chicken $12.50 - boring and not spicy! Steamed Juicy Buns $6 - excellent, can't complain. Fried chicken wings $6 - boring and greasy. We were just sad to have spent $63+ for take out and got so little food that was mostly unremarkable in taste. The quality is however good. Still, we will not return.

One of the Best
Rivals Gourmet Chinese rests. up and down the east coast costing double. I had take out only, so can't rate service.

Veggie dumplings!
They are the best. I have never had a disappointing dish here, everything is awesome. Mostly the veggie dumplings.

I don't get it
I don't understand the fawning reviews of this place.I ordered Sweet n Sour Pork for delivery, waited about 50 minutes and when I opened the bag half of the sweet n sour pork sauce was in the bag, not the container. Then when I took the container out of the bag and opened it, it looked like slimy General Tso's chicken and was only 1/10 as flavorful. And did I mention, it tastes like chicken too? Did I get pork or chicken? It was really quite bland. For $11 it really isn't worth it. Maybe they were having a bad night but I'm not going to waste my money here again.

SO good
I thought we didn't have good Chinese in Williamsburg, but M Shanghai proved me wrong. Go for the moo shoo pancakes and the tea asparagus.
