Poor service, not recommended
Forgettable food and inexcusably slow, poor service., and dark atmosphere. Had lunch here when it was less than half full. We were seated and waited about 10 minutes for a waiter, who proceeded to asked us to order without giving us menus. After we ordered we waited over 20 minutes for the food to come out! Ridiculous, the restaurant was near empty! Food was totally forgettable. Couldn't find waiter when we needed the check. He was filling in for the bartender who seemed to have left! Years ago a great Mexican restaurant was at this same location, no more. Not recommended

Disappointing
I had dinner here a few months ago and the food was pretty ok. Last night I took my gf for dinner for her b-day. First, we did not get what we ordered. Instead of chicken burritos, we got beef burritos (non of us eat red meat). After arguing with us saying we ordered meat, they finally took out the food and 40 minutes later we got our chicken burritos. The food was cold and the chicken very salty. We ate less than half of the food and decided to go somewhere else. When the check came, there were 2 beers on the check. We had neither ordered beer nor had any beer. They apolgized and took it off the check. Needless to say, never again Mole!

best desert!
try the Pastel 3 Leches white cake soaked in a three milk mixture with chantilly cream and chocolate. outrageous! main dishes fine too. and delivery was prompt and accurate

Great food, poor delivery service
it's a damn shame that they always mess up delivery, because this is incredibly delicious food.

Great Mexican Fare
Enjoyed a wonderful experience at the bar last night. The guacamole was on point (not like some of the tasteless offerings at other establishments), the corn soup was just right and the achiote pork dish was cooked perfectly and extremely flavorful. Caesar, the bartender, couldn't have been more attentive and courteous. Look forward to my next visit.

Amazing--cannot believe
The food is great; interesting Mexican spice fusions, not found in other places in the city. Service leaves something to be desired. Cocktails are a specialty.

Great place, great food!
My girlfriend and I eat here at least once a week. The food is fantastic! We love the fresh guacamole. Anything with meat in it is amazing, but the carne asada is something in it's own class. Expect to be in a packed environment when you dine there. It is not a big restaurant and they pack quite a few people in. If you're a stuffy person who doesn't like a "cozy" atmosphere, go somewhere else and leave Mole to us easygoing folk. They do a great job for being in such limited space. If you show up Thurs-Sat night at a popular restaurant in New York and complain about not being seated right away or the service being slow... you can't be helped.
