Will never again set foot in this place!

Have owned and operated many restaurants in town - what happened to "the customer is always right." I complained about a dish and some guy in authority - might have been the owner - yelled at me and said I was crazy. I said that I would never again come here and he said that was fine with him. Horrible behavior - have never gone back and never will.

    good diner

this is a great place to catch a quick late night meal. the wait staff is actually really funny and if you go there a lot (like me), you get to see the really colorful regulars a lot. not the best food in the world, but for a diner, a really good deal.

    Love this place!

Anyone who has said they staff is rude was obviously rude to the staff first because these guys are some of the nicest people I've ever encountered in a restaurant/diner. Even at 4 am they're smiling and they're funny. It's a diner, so of course the food is going to be 'diner' food. But, it's probably the best diner food I've ever had. I've been there quite frequently, and I have had delivery from them many times. The service is impecable for a diner. Most people that work in diners are miserable people, which I don't understand. Your job is what you make of it. If you go into work miserable, then it will be miserable. Make the most of it...hey, at least you have a job! But, at Lyric, they're always so friendly, and my food is always out quickly. I don't mind waiting for my food because I'd rather it be prepared the right way instead of just thrown together. With that being said, even when the food comes out w/in 5-10 minutes, it's always perfect. This diner is probably one of the best diners I've ever experienced. I highly recommend going here.

A Memory Softened Around the Edges

A wonderful atmosphere in a glowing, nostalgic kind of way... The service is sufficient and if you pay attention to the staff, they are even kind of funny... Lovely, moderately priced menu full of diner standards and some slightly more artistic dishes... A good place to sit alone and observe... And then ask the solo guy at the booth next to you how his carrot cake is... See what happens.

    cure your hangover

went here with my friend for a bleary eyed breakfast. omelets were very good and came with plenty of potatoes and toast. good value for the amount of food. service left something to be desired.

    subpar service

When I've gone there in person, the waiters are unfriendly and seem like they're trying to rush you out, even if it's empty. Every time I've placed an order, they've screwed up the order. I do not recommend this place at all

    Good for what it is

This is a diner serving diner food. I guess I wouldn't go here on a date, but I am usually happy with the delivery service on the weekends.
