Delicious Pizza, upside down decor
The arugula pizza was light and flavorful, perfect for a hot day.

Best Pizza in North America
I am from Pozzuoli (NA) Sophias' Loren hometown. I have been living in Toronto for about 20 years and things that I miss the most is the authentic Pizza Napoletana, fresh Mozzarella di Bufola and la Pastiera Napoletana. I do go to New York often for pleasure, actually, believe or not, one of the reason is because of Luzzo's. This is the only restaurant in North America where I can taste the real pizza Napoletana! So when I get depressed of being home sick, I do o to NYC and go to Luzzo's e mi sembra di stare a casa. Forza Napoli. Luzzo's, I am coming again on January 28. Ciao e a presto.

best pizza on this side of town...maybe in all of town!
Clearly I have pizza on the brain because after yesterday’s Motorino post, I am practically jumping out of my seat to write about another superb Italian pie spot. Ladies and gentleman, I give you…Luzzo’s! Luzzo’s is where you want to go for friendly and efficient service, low key atmosphere and delicious authentic Italian food from the heart of Naples. Although the restaurant accommodates a number of tables, it is often difficult to find a seat (power through the wait or try delivery/takeaway). Forget the rest and let’s get serious… go to Luzzo’s for the food. The Gnocchi Sorentina is outstanding (think perfectly made homemade pasta with mozzarella, basil and a touch of creamy tomato sauce). However, I swear, fireworks will go off when you try the pizza! My favorite is the Arugola which has tomato sauce, mozzarella, prosciutto, shaved parm and a heaping bed of leafy arugola (obviously). All of their pizzas are made in a traditional coal oven and include layers of fresh ingredients true to the Napoletana style of cooking. Pies are around $20 for a 12” and $25 for a 16”.

to the person that thinks this pizza is average...you'r e a moron! and clearly the minority in this case...do yourself and everyone else a favor and dont go out to eat...

I am Italian and I know
I come in NY for business every 2 months! This is the only restaurant in NY C where you can taste the real pizza! Quando la pizza mi manca troppo, vado da Luzzo's e mi sembra di stare in Italia

So good!
Perfect spot for a bottle of wine, salad and pizza. So good and so happy I found this place. Try the goat cheese salad it's extra special.
