Great place
Was not going to write anything, but the fish tacos have come a long way since that guy was there in 2011. We liked them so much, we ordered another round of them. They were the standout. But the whole experience was great. Just the music is a bit too loud.

Restaurant week
We travelled to New York for a 4 day getaway and lucked out with restaurant wk. Lure offers an amazing atmosphere, service was top notch Allison was awesome. Great food had the salmon and oysters were truly fresh. Had the chocolate cake with their homemade ice cream- incredible. Would highly recommend.

Do not order the fish tacos
Can't complain about the service. The oysters were fresh, too. But those fish tacos need to find their way off the menu immediately. Nondescript cubes of fish in a grey sauce - the fished tasted like scraps from two weeks ago.

Amazing
Amazing fresh fish. The decor is so cute too. I have been here a couple of times and absolutely love it every time. I make sure every time I am in NYC to stop here.

Great food, poor service
I've heard so much about Lure that a friend and I decided to try it for restaurant week. The choices on the menu were wonderful. We ordered drinks and our dinner, and as soon as our drinks came, the food came. As soon as we put our forks down from the appetizer, the main course came, and the same with dessert. What was the rush? The waittress was snobby and had a huge attitude on top of it. The food was wonderful. The service was disappointing.
