Lunch Box is the best! I get an unlimited metrocard just so I can pop over there for lunch. Delicious sandwiches esp the tuna or turkey combos, muffins, and their juices are super fresh. I admit that heir soups aren't as homemade tasting as they used to be but everything else is still first rate. I can't imagine what the last reviewer had that could be described as bland. I'd describe the flavors in the combos as subtle and intelligently composedeach ingredient is there for a reason and they combine to produce sandwiches that are supremely satisfying. You'll feel healthy and 'up' after eating one, not sluggish as with regular deli sandwiches.

I stopped by here the other day since the Lunch box is rated so high and just around the corner from where I work. In all honesty the sandwich that I had wasn't anything to write home about, nothing that you can't get at any health food market and just a tad bit overpriced. I would compare this to a place similar to Olives down in Soho, except that Olives is absolutley unique and delicious, except for their steak sandwich. I just didn't feel that the lunch box could be considered a great sandwich shop without unique tastes, it was very bland, but I guess that's what people like these days.

i just stumbled onto this place the other day, it's really fantastic. the sandwiches are made to order and if you don't like their suggested combos, they'll make 'em how you like. it's really good and the pepperjack cheese is really great!

I just walked by this sandwich shop earlier today and deicided to stop in. I am glad I did. The avocado sandwich on 7 grain bread was delicious, healthy and filling. I am looking forward to going back soon and trying the other reasonable sandwiches on the menu.

Great little place. Awesome sandwiches, awesome service, and only $6.95 for a soup/sandwich combo. Amazing.

This place fantastic for quick, reasonably priced sandwiches. Selection is limited (in the sense that it is not a full deli), but the sandwiches are really tasty and well put together. And shockingly quick!
