Pleasant Surprise
Had dinner Friday night & it was so good that we went back again Sunday night & it was equally as good. Had Veal Scallopini Pizziola, Chopped Salad, Spaghetti & Meatballs, Eggplant Parmigiana, Lasagne. All delicious. Desserts were good too. Will be back.

Dissatisfied
Average food at high prices. Waiter praised two dishes - these turned out to be the two most expensive on the menu. Also recommended a glass of wine not telling us the price ($ 16) - high for a neighborhood restaurant. Finally, when we asked that what was left from our meals be wrapped to take home, the waiter cleared the table piling everything onto our food.

Very pleased
Went last Thursday evening with my husband and another couple. I read wonderful reviews on this website. The experience was first rate. Our waiter was knowledgeable and pleasant.We started with a salad that had a nice variety of ingredients. All of us had the well prepared Branzino which was filleted beautifully and very fresh.The wine selections, both white and red, were excellent. We left very satisfied with both the service and the food. We will definitely go back very soon.

Delicious food!
Hidden gem on the UES. I've been here for dinner twice since I discovered it including for my birthday dinner. The food is heavenly. Try the ravioli with veal raisins and pine nuts. Great service too.

Tried it again!
I wrote a bad review last January, but took a couple of friends back just to try it again. MUCH BETTER! I don't know if they have a new chef or new owner, but everything was great tasting this time around. Just thought I should update my disappointing review. Will definitely go back again and so close.
