Luna Piena

I'm really not trying to be unkind, but most of the food my party ordered was mediocre, at best. The service was horrible. The cover of their menu though, is a piece of art!

Food was fair but the service, oh the service, was terrible. This place is perfect for the tourist who don’t know any better. The value, the staff, the management, the small portions, and the overall atmosphere are horrendous. I would not come back nor would I recommend this place to anyone I know. It’s a shame because the food was once very good.

Food is always good however the service and management is always bad! So many other places to choose from will never consider this place again. Rushed service with lousy atmosphere and rude staff is a sure fire way to loose your customers!

We dined here on New Years eve and at other times and Luna never disappoints us. It's very small and intimate. We brought our kids and they even enjoyed it. Food and service were wonderful.

My wife and I have been going to Luigi's Luna Piena for years, and, as trite as it sounds, it just seems a bit more authentic and relaxed than other restaurants we've frequented. Luigi maintains a bona fide Italian wait staff, and collectively they provide excellent service and high quality fare. I agree with all comments below inclusive of the well-informed wine suggestions and the fact that it can be a bit on the busy side, but someone wanting intimate dining could pick a time other than 8:00 on weekends for a lower-key experience. It's a happy place and popular for the reasons that have awarded it the stars you see - and Luigi is a genuinely nice guy.

Excellent food. Very good service. We will be back!

The food was fresh, but not overly impressive. The restaurant crams way too many tables into the space, leading to a noisy and impersonal dining experience.
