Excellent food. Very good service. We will be back!

The food was fresh, but not overly impressive. The restaurant crams way too many tables into the space, leading to a noisy and impersonal dining experience.

I eat at Luna Piena quite often and have never written a review for the place... Guests are greeted warmly at the door by the Italian manager Luigi and the staff is attentive... The wine list is extensive and Luigi, a trained sommalier, will always help you fine an excellent choice in your price range. The menu is extensive and there are always delicious specials...so finding something you like is never a problem. Wether lunch, dinner or a late night snack with a great glass of wine, Luna Piena is certainly the place the heve a great dinning experience.

I often have lunch here during the week, and find the food well-prepared (pasta al dente!). The wait staff, all native Italian speakers, is efficient and molto simpatico.

much better than average. i don't expect much from Italian cuisine. it seems that everywhere i go it all tastes the same. i'm glad to have been proved wrong. my parents, boyfriend and i went last night. Everything was excellent! My linguine vongole was wonderful. My parents split the gnocci and said it was delicious. My boyfriend had a porcini mushroom ravioli that he loved. The portions are normal to a bit small, which is perfect for me. I'm not the over eater. We had a beef carpaccio to start off with. Everyone cleaned their plates, even going so far as to use the bread to get the last bit of sauce. I will definitely be going back.

I first went to Luna for a meeting and instantly fell in love with it. Later, for my birthday my husband and I went there for dinner. He can be hard to impress since he likes to eat meat, but we sat there and he exclaimed "I love this place!" I knew we had found a winner. The atmospher is wonderful, a little on the small side, but that really does not matter. The food is wonderful and all made fresh and although it is a little more expensive then what some may want to spend, my husband and I both feel it is a great value! We are going again tonight . . . I think this is our new spot!

While in NYC with our family we asked for a reccomendation for a great Italian restaurant with cozy atmosphere and child accommodating menu items...We were so pleased with our experience on all aspects! Excellent food, off menu items provided for the kids and the price was excellent for the quality. Other familes with young children were throughout the restaurant and our boys were well provided for! It is our new favorite and stop in whenever we are in town from Dallas! This Italian girl was very impressed!
