This restaurant is in the process of "rebranding" we were told last night as we went to redeem our coupon for Lumiere. The "new" Casablanca honored our Lumiere voucher for what turned out to be an extraordinary meal. The menu is simple but has many clever and original items. It was hard to choose, but since they were out of a number of items, our choices were narrowed. We were the only diners there, so we must have missed the dinner rush...? Even so, we waited a little too long for our food in this essentially empty restaurant. The décor is confusing; and the music, while enjoyable, was not at all suitable to the ambience. There seems to be an identity crisis going on aesthetically. That said, the bathrooms were awesome - simultaneously weird and beautiful. The service was polite but slow. Even so, the food was so good that, if I can ever find this out-of-the-way place again, I will jump at the chance to have another meal there.

Went to Lumiere with my boyfriend tonight and the restaurant well exceeded our expectations. We ordered the lamb sliders as a first which were very tasty, duck confit salad which was crispy and cooked to perfection. For our entrees my boyfriend ordered the Ribeye which I highly recommend. It was a 12oz but looked to be closer to 14 oz..For cocktail he had the rum, pineapple and absinthe and they put it on fire..cute added attraction. I ordered the equadorian shrimp dish with Andoile sausage and coconut rice. Shrimp and sausage were really tasty but coconut rice could've used a bit more flavor. Later we shared a dessert of chocolate mousse and cake with strawberries and whip cream which they sent us out on the house... Think this place will be here to stay...superb
