Cheap & Awesome! Best of its kind.

First of all, we're talking about a pizza place -- not Le Bernadin or some other fine dining option. For a pizza place, I honestly think you can't beat it, especially for all the non-pizza, pizza place dishes (like heros, baked ziti, and other dishes). What's absolutely awesome? 1. Chicken Parm (hero or main dish) -- HUGE portions and seriously good quality. I'm serious. First time I ordered from this place, I was like "This is so much better than I thought it would be." It's been that good every time. 2. Other heros (meatball parm, other chicken options, all good). 3. Baked pasta dishes -- awesome. I usually get these with a side of meatballs or sausage. Sides are cheap, huge and amazing. 4. Garlic Bread with Mozzarella -- outrageous. Huge, fresh, amazing. What's very good? Chicken roll, sausage roll, etc. Sometimes awesome, other times the bread wasn't as crisp as I like, possibly because it's wrapped in aluminum foil and condensation softens it. All told, order from this place and you won't be disappointed. It's become a go-to for homey pizza place food b/c it's always cheap, huge portions and most of all really good.

Still talking about the pepperoni pizza

my family just loved this pizza restaurant, it was our first meal in nyc, best pizza we have ever had along with the grilled chicken ceasar salad, inexpensive perfect for the hungry family

    Not recommended

The pizza was crafted without love; the dough pummeled into a thick and stodgy base; the vegetables were not freshly prepared; the basil had wilted long before it reached the oven. Half way through this process I wanted to make a run for it, but sadly couldn't bring myself to do it. A short while later I returned home, pizza in hand. My wife is street tough and bravely ate two slices, before admitting defeat. The rest was recycled and is being picked at by a desperate seagull as you read this

    speedy delicious

Luigi's was delish! Boy. I'm serious. I can't tell if it was my incredible hunger or the delish pasta sauce, but this place really hit the spot. I heartily endorse this affordable Italian eatery. Luigi, I commend thee.
