great patio!
It was one of the first nice nights this spring and we opted for the patio at Lugo. Very nice experience. Music in backround, really nice wine, all paired with some real good Italian food. Very happy and will defintely go back.

I never knew!
I've had meatballs all over and I never thought I would find the perfect one. Well, I DID! This place has the most amazing meatballs I have ever had! Soft, juicy, great sauce. The food here is top notch! The Chef was walking through the dining room and my table had to pull him over. Very nice guy and you could tell he has a passion for his food. I can't wait to go back and I would highly recommend Lugo caffe to anyone.

I have dined at lugo in the past but this place has turned into another madison square garden restaurant, poor food and poor service

real nice time!
My friends and I just happened upon Lugo Caffe and it turned out to be quite nice. My friend was coming in form LI and Penn station is right there, so we opted for Lugo for lunch. The food was very good and service was right on. i was very happy. I will definitely be back.

Not good
Don't go here! The staff is xtremely rude. After making a reservation and arriving on time we had to wait 25 minutes to actually sit down but that wasn't even the worst part. The manager that asked for our reservation was rude and seemed like she didn't like people whatsoever. I'm extremely dissapointed and I will never go here again. The food was cold, and tasteless as well....in a city like New York there's no reason to go back to a place with awful service.

What Happen?
I would eat here 2 times a month sometimes 3, I work in the same building, the past few times the service and the food have gone down hill, from mushy over cooked pasta, cold pizza and tough steak, servers seem very rushed, had to ask for a fork and my table was dirty when we sat?

Unimpressed
I have been to numerous restaurants in NYC and I'm usually not disappointed. Lugo Caffe was unpleasant from start to finish. The food was mediocre at best. The wine was overpriced. And the waitstaff was pretentious. I emphatically do not recommend it.
