    Tasteless

Appetizers are okay but main course meals are tasteless and dry. so save your money and go somewhere else and get your money worth

    Pretty Disappointed . . .

This place has gotten a lot of good press and word of mouth going for it. That said, my sister and I were not particularly impressed in general. The one stand out dish was the starter of chilled sliced duck and jellyfish. Nice crunch and touch of spicy on the jellyfish, and really a great flavor and contrast on the tender fresh tasting duck. We tried the ribs which I know is supposed to be a signature dish. The flavor was a little different, but good. .They were quite tough though which is really an unforgivable sin when it comes to a fatty cut like ribs which were supposed to be braised, but tasted suspiciously like they had been fried. We also had a fresh fish, of unknown variety, out of the tank. Not only was it almost all bones, the ginger, scallion, and soy sauce braised liquid was far too oily as was the taste. The mixed vegetables ordered on a whim where a surprisingly good variety with a nice texture and subtle flavor. Still that is a pretty basic dish, and did not really make up for the two main dishes. All in all, it may have been an isolated case of bad luck, but we were pretty disappointed.
