Had a great time in a fun place with a great show, but the service was a bit lacking.... I would go back and go straight to the Karoake bar next time.

The food isn't great. You go here for the entertainment, which is a drag-queen giving you or the person next to you a lap dance. If you do not want to be humped by a drag-queen in front of the entire restaurant at your table, do not admit to having a birthday or any other special occasion. The music is very loud so this is not a place to go if you want to have a conversation. It is a good place to go before a night of partying.

Of course, I went to lucky cheng's for a friends birthday, and just after we were seated the birthday girl at the table next to us received her lap dance...which was pathetic, the dancer basically just sat on her lap and humped her...nothing funny about it. The food was rushed, and it felt like we had no time to just sit and enjoy the fun of the place...in fact the bus boy came to our table about every ten seconds and tried to take the food...keep in mind every single dish was full, so it was absurd that he kept reaching for the plates. Not to mention it was way overpriced. We are a very fun group, but the place just seemed to tired and old. Even the drunk people in our party were not amused with the performances...which included a random waitress doing a sad attempt at a hawaiian dance - it was nothing special, she just kept waving her arms...she clearly wasn't a real dancer, but it wasn't funny, it didn't seem to fit, and the MC's jokes were along the lines of "meet ginger! Doesn't she have lovely boobs! Yay! Everyone give it up for ginger! Do a little dance Ginger!" This place was worse than the jekyll and hyde club. I'd stay away until they get their act together again.

Fun place and tasty food! Took a group of friends here for a birthday party over the weekend. Start with the spinach salad and the Vietnamese shrimp rolls (you won't be dissapointed). The duck and the salmon are great entree choices but you might want to ask your "waitress" for extra sauce since the food runners tend to be sloppy and spill most of the sauce on the floor before it gets to your table (We've personally witnessed this). Most items "From The Wok" are okay but not very original. Stick with the "Entrees" listed above it. Crowded and loud, this place is popular with parties and large groups. The "waitresses" are funny and entertaining as well as glamourous! Keep your eyes out for the lap dances that happen sporatically through out the dining room. They are hillarious and you can buy one too for your friends! Definitely check it out!

Pros: We loved everything that we ordered. BBQ chicken and mako shark (!!) esp. delicious. Our waitress was THE BOMB and so funny!!! Show was hysterical, and we scream for drag kareoke. Cons: Dining room is closely seated, but so are most places in Manhattan. My universal complaint! Kind of noisy also. Lots of other parties.

We took a friend here for her birthday it was perfect for her - chinese food served by transvestites. It has amazing atmo, even if it's not the best value. Good calamari. Get the lapdance for a special occasion, it's unforgettable
