    no FOOD!

Went to Lucky Chengs for a birthday celebration...NOT!!! Sooo dissapointed - they ran out of food for one. They had no chicken wings or spring rolls for the appetizer portion of the dinner. Next the Sesame Asian Noodle salad was a horrid and a bland concoction of nothingness. Since they had no chicken we were subjected to being served 3 bowls of these tasteless noodles without even asking for them. The Waitress or should I say waiter never asked if we needed water or drinks. And the birthday cake...or the lack there of was a heaping mess of chocolate flavored whip cream with chocolate cake layers in between with the texture of what seemed and tasted like styrofoam. I'm surprised our party of 8 did not walk out, but the customers at the next table sure did when they found out how bad of an experience they were about to have. PLEASE!!! stick to your local favorite eatery and skip this place. It was totally not worth the $500, which is what the bill came out to...it was really really bad

A Drag it was definitely not!

Oh my god. The queens here are beautiful! Seriously, I was embarrassed to call myself a woman, showing up in blue jeans, flats, and a flowery blouse while these queens paraded around in stockings, stilettos and hot, hot dresses. The food is served in huge portions, but definitely not what you come for. It's a little too fusion-y for my taste, but I was definitely full at the end of the meal. The main event was definitely worth it, and compensated for what the food was lacking. Between the lap dances, the flexibility (anyone who has seen Japanese Fucking Bitch knows what I'm talking about), and the sass, I had an amazing time. This was my first show, and it most certainly won't be my last! We also stayed for karaoke and brought the house down. Bonus points for the awkward men present who had no idea what to do. There was a birthday celebration with males comprising half of the guests, and they had no idea how to have fun. It was pretty amusing watching them look very uncomfortable. Long live Lucky Cheng's!

    Beware of added gratuity

Be warned people! They trick you into tipping them twice! They pass out an envelope before you get your bill and they explain to you that it's for the waitresses/performers. We put in $10 each only to find out they had also included a 20% gratuity on our bill! We ended up tipping almost $100! No matter what # of ppl your party is, they include this gratuity. The food is OK. I had the spicy chicken rolls as an appetizer. They gave three cold rolls the size of my pinky finger. I had a steak w/ wasabi mash for the entree which was actually pretty good but the $32 price tag for the 3 course menu is hardly worth it in my opinion. I do have to say that the show was very funny and entertaining but some of the waitresses need an attitude adjustment. Our waitress in particular was rude & unattentive. I really wish I hadnt been tricked into tipping her more than she deserved.

    We had a blast!

I see a lot of bad reviews and that's too bad. I took my daughter and some of her girlfriends there for her Sweet 16 party. We had a blast! The balloon guy was hilarious and his x-rated balloons were amazing! The drag queens were beautiful and gracious, as well as great servers and happy to pose for pictures or take pictures of your table for you. We thought the food was excellent. Not many choices but it was family style. We had 4 appetizers and 4 entrees for 6 very hungry girls and we had so much food left over we took it home. My daughter was too young for the lap dances but we all had a good time laughing at everyone else! I would definitely go back there and recommend it to anyone who wants to have fun! And we were not drinking! Even the bathroom attendant was funny! It was a little expensive but there is no cover charge and no drink minimum, which is rare for a show in the city. You should go!

    The food was disappointing

I went there with a group of 8 for a bachelorette party and I have to say that the food was the worst food that i've ever had at a restaurant. I've seen the other reviews and was already prepared for a bad meal but I was surprised at how bad it could be. The food was warm at best, the chicken tasted like it was microwaved and then some jarred bbq sauce was slapped on top. The entertainment was alright. I'm enjoyed myself. You have to tip the "performers" but the thing was that they didn't even really perform. They pulled people from the crowd to give some dude a lap dance. The interior left much to be desired. Come to think of it, I really don't have anything nice to say about the place. I would never choose to go there again.

    What Hell of a Drag...

My friends and I were there last night for the first time. The food was AWFUL ...low quality. Like frozen food they heated up and served on a platter. The staff, besides one and the Oriental hostess, had very shitty attitudes. My friend gave one of the performers a compliment, saying how great he/she looked on stage. He/She didn't, not once, look at her while my friend was saying these nice things to him/her. He/She never once gave eye contact, just kept looking down at his/her cell phone, texting, and with an unappreciative response said "Thank you". The facility was awful...and very dark looking. Like a dungeon. Don't wear heels in there, the floors are uneven and you can break an ankle. The drinks were very good though. The show was very short. They also passed around empty pouches wanting guest to put money in there, Like a homeless person bumming money off of you. Thats not including the pricey bill and 20% gratuity.... I swear I felt like I was raped in drag hell... never again will I go there.

    stay away

Unlucky Chengs. Been here a bunch of times for BDAY parties and bachelorette parties. Not sure what happened but dn't let thsi place ruin your celebration like it did for us last weekend. Food was not good and they were not acomodating at all. You should bring lots of $$$$ with you too because if you don't tip the most your bride will not be included in the show. Drinks are yummy (if you can find yoru server to order more) and the names are hysterical but the alcohol cannot help this place. They are so rude, and the show went down hill dramatically. Mostly they promote the after show, which thankfully we did not do so the bride could actually have some fun. Do yourself and your whole party a big favor and stay away
