    Rare burger every time!!

This is the only place near me were I get a very rare burger every time. Well once it was just rare. They are very nice. And as I said the burger is very rare every time, even with delivery. I don't want the bread or lettuce & tomato, and I prefer a pickle to the coleslaw. It's not a problem. Very consistent.

    Never again

One evening I went for Turkey and it was dry and burnt and many of the items on the menu, they do not have nor serve. It is not a warm place - the servers are not friendly, and all I wanted to do was to eat as quickly as possible and RUN. Breakfast is a bit better, but hey! this is New York and there are tons of choices and places to go. Maybe if I were desperate....

    Great neighborhood coffee shop

Go here for brunch with my roommate, great eggs, potatoes and bacon, good value, cozy atmosphere. Plus being open 24-hours makes it great after a night out.

Much worse than it used to be.

Stopped in for a bacon cheeseburger deluxe, well-done (I actually said well-done twice). The regular chef was sitting down eating his own dinner apparently (this was at 3 AM). The cashier guy then proceeded to make my burger. I noticed him smashing the patty down on the grill repeatedly, not something I've seen before. I got home and took a bite and it was not rare, but raw. Raw as in frozen in the middle. On top of that, the guy packaged the coleslaw in with the fries and the mayo formed a hot pool under everything, resulting in a huge disgusting mess. When I went back to get a refund he kept insisting he would make another one. No thanks. He didn't hand back my money without an argument. This place used to be pretty good, but as of my last experience, I will never eat there again.

    Rude on the phone

We order out a lot and have lived in the east village for 20 years. In all those years we have never been told over the phone after asking for our delivery total... "I'm not a calculator. I will send the bill". Then when the prompt delivery guy arrived with our food. The fries were cold and the chocolate cake was so old it was completely dry! This was the third and final time we will be disappointed by this diner.

    Consistently Good

The food is good, cheap, and they have the food to your door within 20 min. I've tried a bunch of items on the menu including the berger, chicken sandwich, meatloaf sandwich, but the best item by far is the Gyro platter. Sandwich, fries, and a huge greek salad for 9 bucks! No minimum, and they will deliver a single cup of coffee if you ask....literally.
