    Great new place!

The fried chicken is to die for. I don't usually like corn bread or brussel sprouts, but both were impressive. Great atmosphere for dinner or to meet for a drink at the bar. Will definitely go back!!

    Lowcountry? Pass

I wanted to take some pals out for brunch and so we went here. Food was okay. Actually, my pal's fried chicken meal (for brunch? sure) was tasty but everything else in front of us was pretty average. PS, the fact that fried chicken is tasty really doesn't impress. I mean, it's FRIED CHICKEN. Anyway, service was kind of slow. Our waiter was very nice but more or less inattentive. Maybe I'm a demanding jerk but I need my coffee in the morning, and I shouldn't have to ask for the little 6 oz coffee cup (*ahem* thimble) to be refilled over and over again. I guess I got hit for each fill, because the bill came in at around $45 per each of us. For an unimpressive brunch? Wow, no thanks Lowcountry. You can put all the bacon you want in my bloody mary but I'm still taking my brunch jones elsewhere next time...

    Fantastic from start to finish!

Ok, really good! Loved the Pimento Deviled Eggs and the Ribs. Ginger Julip cocktail was very tasty as well. Service was friendly, yet unobtrusive... overall, fantastic!

    Best Fried Chicken

Love the fried chicken and biscuit. Never thought I'd rave about brussel sprouts, but they are great. Service was decent, but they opened only two weeks ago, so staff is still finding their rhythm. Friendly-vibe. Low key atmosphere. No attitude. Cool place to get a drink. Definite winner.

    Great Fun Spot

Chicken biscuit was incredible. Went with friends and had so much fun. Try the ribs too, the potato salad rocked. Service could have been a bit better. Definitely going back.

    Great food!

Delicious food, reasonable prices, comfortable friendly atmosphere. Can't wait to go back. Fried green tomatoes, chicken biscuit, and ribs are a must. Order every dessert. So good! Friendly atmosphere, no attitude. Great soundtrack. Cool vibe. Just go.

From High Culinary to Low Country

Its sad to see a restaurant continue to decline, as I ate at the original Bar Blanc when chef Caesar ramirez was at the helm, and the food was amazing! I am and now utterly shocked to find that it has evolved into a chicken and rib joint. Instead of dover sole and duck, it is now catfish and wings! I just couldn't take it when I was offered a $6 PBR with a shot at the bar! Will this place become a Papaya King next?!
