    Cute, unique Thai

A Thai restaurant with an offering of Irish breakfast and carrot cake for dessert: perfect and eclectic. I had the shrimp green curry with brown rice. It was light and tear-inducingly spicy, just the way I like it. The waitress was fine, and while the place is adorable, the bathroom is most inconveniently located.

    Best in SOHO

I've been working in this neighborhood for quite some time and I have to say that Lovely Day has fantastic food. The tuna tartar is fresh, light, and flavorful. I never write reviews, but felt compelled to just so that I could say that you should go for the dishes. However, don't expect to feel welcome if you're not a part of the hipster crowd that hangs out at the bar to drink the free tap water. You'll get funny looks and condescending remarks if you resemble any other facet of society. Fair warning, but it's worth being glared at just to have a few good bites.

    Cozy Hideaway

Awesome food - recommend the ginger chicken or pad thai. The most amazing chocolate cake - flourless! Don't forget to order at least one cup of drip coffee - ummm!

    great drinks

i would like to start by saying that i had the most pleasent experiece with the bartender last saturday night. she was so cool and gave the best service from any bartender ever, i think her name was anna. i had the salmon for dinner and those mashed sweet potatoes are the best, and not to mention the price, outstanding. kudos, to a lovely experience at lovely day.

    Go for brunch

The place is great for brunch. go before noon and you will find a spot easy, they also serve the whole menu then, so if you are in the mood for pad thai, it is one of the best in the city!!! i went for dinner twice, long wait, food was ok but not as fresh as in the morning.

    Good times!

This is an awesome place to grab a bite to eat or just chill out in front with a drink. Great menu with lots of delicious specials. My current favorite is tuna sashimi with an amazing wasabi olive oil! I also love the 40's style dinner decor and the staff is friendly!
