Way too sweet
Pad Thai was cloyingly sweet. I don't plan on returning. Service was fine though.

great lunch
I order from here frequently and will definitely return! Avoid eating in though..staff is ridiculously bad. I gave them one star because they have never messed up my order. However, every time I call they patronizingly tell me that I really need to speak up. Nothing to get worked up over, but generally annoying. If they got new servers I'd probably go more often for dinners as well.

Worst delivery & service
This place is ridiculous when it comes to delivery. First off, the guy taking my order had music blasting in the background and kept saying he couldn't hear me..I wonder why? Then, he kept messing up my credit card number I repeated it multiple times. I asked for it to be delivered at 12pm (I called at 11am when they opened), they said no problem. It was not delivered till 12:50pm and when I called to check on it on 12:10pm they were incredibly rude and hung up on me. This was lunch for clients so it was very important it was on time. NEVER ordering from this place again. I asked for the manager and the girl laughed and hung up on me. Couldn't even believe the low-grade service.

NOT the best pad Thai
You know that place EVERYONE says is good and then you go and it isn't. So 'eerbody and their mom said this place had the best pad Thai, I get it and it is dry and the sauce tasted generic at best.

Love this place!
I eat here twice a week. If I miss a week I feel like my life has been diminished. The last reviewer really nailed it. If you're looking for an impeccable fine dining experience, you're in the wrong place. If you're looking for a warm, casual spot with good food, great people (trust me, I'm no hipster and I find almost all the staff to be super nice) and a no-pretense, fun vibe, this is it. This is the kind of place that is fast disappearing in nyc, much to our detriment.

This place is great
This place doesn't pretend to be a fancy, multi waitered restaurant where the service is impeccable. It is an informal, funky, fun but delicious place to eat. The staff is friendly and well mannered, if perhaps a little slow but the food is excellent. If you want something else then go somewhere else!

Why all the bad reviews?
I order from here once a week at least. i cant speak for the service in the place, but the people on the phone are always super nice. everytime. and the food is delicious.
