Thai lover gives two thimbs up
First let me say I love Thai food and have gone to many in NYC. My boyfriend found this place for Valentine's Day and it was perfect. Once you step in you think you are in Manhattan. The decor is beautiful. The atmosphere cool and swanky. The music was great. (They have a live Dj some nights.) The service was great! From the host to the waiter to the manager who walked us out at the end of the night. At first I thought the waiter had a bit of an 'attitude' but then I realized he was just "fierce" and it turned out he was very helpful and provided great service. They had a tasting menu for Valentine's Day 3 courses for 2 with a bottle of wine or champagne for $90. not a bad deal! We opted for the cocktails instead Mango and Lychee mojitos. Delish!!! (I had two and I dont even like mojitos.) The appetizers were delicious! Usually I let my boyfriend have the last bite but not this time. We had the shrimp and green curry and the roasted duck. The duck was SCRUMPTIOUS! The perfect crispiness and flavor. I have been thinking of going back every day since then. ( mind you I had the curry shrimp which was delicious also I tried my best to leave his food alone!) We had a great experience and look forward to returning or ordering delivery ( for that duck!)

Great new place in the neighborhood
Great place. Love the decor, especially the wall mural. Excellent sweat and sour shrimp and eggplant is fabulous.

Awesome new spot on Coney island
So I've been ordering delivery from this place since it's opened. About 4 months now and it's been pretty good so far. The food is tasty and the service is not bad. Only thing is delivery service is spotty and the food came cold twice. It's good and I would def recommend this to people.

So disappointed!
So I waited for over an hour to get my delivery of sweet & sour veges, chicken tom yum soup, and a thai salad. When it came, the vegetables were cooked to death- yknow when broccoli is cooked so much that it turns that "alligator green" color? That's how it was. YUCK! The tom yum soup which I specified should be "chicken" came with shrimp instead of chicken. Well damn. I cant eat seafood. $5 in the garbage. The salad had barely any peanut dressing on it and the tofu pieces in it looked like someone found them behind the stove after they'd been sitting there for a year. I tasted one and spit it out. Needless to say, I won't be ordering from here ever again.

Great place, cute bartender!
It is not my first visit to Lotus to be honest with you. However, every time I come here it is a totally new experience. The food is alaways fresh and the drinks are creative. The Staff is doing their best to accomodate the customers of this trendy establishment. Special complements to the barteneder. Looking to go back!
