Fresh Mexican
Awesome chile Relleno. The red sauce mixed together with the sour cream make the chile relleno melt in my mouth. I usually order the chicken mixed with cheese, its extra but so worth it! I go there at least once a week for my fix. Definitely check it out if you're in Park Slope.

Whats going on?
I have been going to los pollitos since i moved here from California 6 years ago. Although the service could improve, i believe it still has the best rotisserie chicken in brooklyn. Im surprised from all the negative reviews about the food. My partner ordered the fajitas and they still came out delicious. The drinks, margaritas are still awesome! I want to be like everyone else and leave a negative review but i cant find something that will totally turn me off from returning. Matter of fact, talking about them makes me want to order delivery from them right now...

This place is simply surviving
I 've known los Pollitos on 5th ave for about 10 years... I have not idea what is going now with this place! It is just terrible!.. Clearly, You can assume that some split up happened since a new Los "pollitos" just opened recently few blocks away. The food is still "eatable" but the service, and the ambiance.. are simply a disaster... I went there three or four days ago, the waiter was simply rude, the food came all wrong, not too mention its delayed in arriving... This place seems very desorganized..One thing that stood up was the busboy who seemed knew, However, who was very polite, nicely dressed and showed some concept of service.. .The rest was absolutely dissapointing... Seems that this place is simply surviving.. .. Hope the new owner understand the value of this place for the neighborhood and brings back the old concept of casual, friendly, yet respectful and qualified concept of service that should go hand in hand with the food they serve.

getting worse and worse
i have lived right near the restaurant for nearly 4 years and while it didn't start out amazing, it has only gotten worse and worse. not only is the food mediocre at best and the service poor, but i think there is a new manager/owner or something. the back room, which was nice when it opened a couple of years ago, is never open anymore. loud music blasts on the street whether there are tables out or not and the family that apparently owns it uses the sidewalk like it's their back yard. completely unprofessional and disrespectful to their neighbors. i used to go once or twice a week for takeout. with the plethora of good, value restaurants in park slope there is simply no reason to go at all anymore.

My Kids love it
My kids love going to this restaurant. They call it going to Mexico! I dont agree with some of these folks, i have been going to Los Pollitos for the past 5 years and the food is still great. Although the service could improve, it is always a fun and delicious place to eat.

Used to be great
I have been going to Los Pollitos for many years. It used to be a great restaurant, but has declined tremendously. In the past you would get complimentary chips and salsa and much more food on your plate. Now you pay more for less. The service is slow and wait staff are not attentive. We had to ask for our bill three times in order to pay. They once had a wider area of delivery making it easier to avoid the poor service, but now they require a minimum $25 order to deliver in South Slope. I miss the old days and it's sad to say goodbye to what was once the best Mexican restaurant in Park Slope.
