Great Service
I decided to take my father to Bogota's for his birthday, but when we got there there was a 45 minute wait. So we decided to try Los Pollitos 2, accross the street. Since this is Park Slope, I had to drive around for like ten minutes to find parking. When i got there, my father had already gotten a table, and briefly chit chatted with the owner. We ordered our drinks first, mojito and pina colada, they were GOOD, potent and sweet :). Next the food, Carne Asada and chicken platter, DELICIOUS. You could tell they were made fresh, and full of flavor. And while were enjoying our good food and drinks, theres this musician playing some Latin music in the background, great entertainment! And to top it off, somehow the owner knew it was my fathers birthday and brought out a tres leches cake with a candle and got the musician to sing happy birthday to him, without me instructing him to do so! It was wonderful. He absolutely went out of his way when he didnt have to. AWESOME Service! I will definitely be going back. The whole experience was wonderful and half the price of Bogota's!

Several better options in the neighborhood
I've been to Los Pollitos II several times over the years and won't be returning. The food here is increasingly "meh" and the service isn't very good either. If you're looking for Mexican food in Park Slope, pretty much all of your other options are better.

Good food......pricey sangria
Good food......pricey sangria I went to this place for a quick bite and some drinks. It was a hot night and we didn’t want anything too heavy. The waiter was very attentive and asked what we wanted to drink. There were four of us and we all decided on sangria. We also ordered some tacos and fresh guacamole. The tacos were great! They were so fresh and light. I highly recommend them. This was the problem when the bill came they charged us $45.00 for the pitcher of sangria. I’ve never paid that much for sangria in my life!!! Try the food, but STAY away from the pricey sangria pitchers.

Fresh Mexican
Awesome chile Relleno. The red sauce mixed together with the sour cream make the chile relleno melt in my mouth. I usually order the chicken mixed with cheese, its extra but so worth it! I go there at least once a week for my fix. Definitely check it out if you're in Park Slope.

Whats going on?
I have been going to los pollitos since i moved here from California 6 years ago. Although the service could improve, i believe it still has the best rotisserie chicken in brooklyn. Im surprised from all the negative reviews about the food. My partner ordered the fajitas and they still came out delicious. The drinks, margaritas are still awesome! I want to be like everyone else and leave a negative review but i cant find something that will totally turn me off from returning. Matter of fact, talking about them makes me want to order delivery from them right now...
