Poor service, good food
I concur with these other folks. Taste-wise they serve the better Mexican in Park Slope. But in person and in delivery, they are subpar. Generally rude employees and flakey delivery with screw-ups. It's a real shame.

Delivery fiasco means never coming back
I can't lie. I've been to this place a whole lot in my years here in Brooklyn and I've loved each time. But I ordered delivery for the first time tonight and, after an hour of waiting, I'm turning away the food. Over an hour waiting + calling 4 times and not getting any answer + a manager who is "not here right now" + an offer of 10% off for cold food = never going back to this place again.

delicious fresh mexican food
Coming to NYC from Colorado, I have searched and searched and searched for decent Mexican food, and I am soooo happy to have stumbled upon Los Pollitos. I am a connoisseur, and I can tell you this food is great! Fresh and spicy and delicious. The real thing.

A disappointment
I am a big fan of mexican food and have eaten at several establishments. Also, I am usually not a fussy eater but this place really disappointed me. Me and my friend were CRAVING gaucamole dip. How can you mess up gaucamole? Well this place succeeding in doing so. There were more onions, cilantro and tomatoes than avocados. Seemed like a cheap way to cut food costs at the expense of the customer. Even the mixed drinks were bad.. I ordered a margarita, and my friend ordered a mojito. Dessert was also a disappointment. We ordered the flan which was a square slice and it came with this glop of goey caramel on top, not the traditional way flan is made. To top it off, our server was not good. I've been a server for five years on and off, and I can tell you there was no need for the rudeness and poor service we received. It was not busy and all he did was stand around his station just daydreaming and gossiping. He didn't even clear the plates off when we were CLEARLY done.. we had to ask. But on a lighter note, our entrees were actually decent.

best mex in slope
Not that there is much to choose from, but this was definitely the best Mexican food I've had in the nabe yet. To think, for the longest tome I thought they were just a rotisserie chicken place. Everything was fresh, tasty, and fairly authentic. I'll be back soon!

Finally!
Finally mexican that tastes, well, mexican! Service is less than kind, but whatever - this is NYC. I'll put up with it for the amazing super nachos with mushrooms and mushroom quesadillas.

Great food, rude service
This place has great roti chicken, green sauce, avocado salad and amazing fried Yuca. It also has a bunch of very rude guys working. I was picking up my food and caught attitude from the moment I walked in. I then tipped a few bucks on a pick-up and asked for an extra container of sauce - the clown behind the counter told me he gave me a lot. I didn't ask how many you gave me - I asked for another one. On food for 5 he gave me 3 sauces. What would have been the harm in giving me another? The place is small and hot (no AC when I was there) so I advise take-out. Just bring your patience.
