Wonderful food, owner drives everyone nuts in this small little store--shouting at kitchen staff, telling customers to wait, as only she can take the money, staff must wrap takeout. This is all worth it because the food is top restaurant quality.

I have been a customer of Lorenzo & Maria's Kitchen for over 15 years-maybe more I can't keep count. Yes, the prices are high, but so is the quality. Maria buys and expertly prepares some of the best food in Manhattan.
