Great Spot - Reprehensible Service
From the moment we arrived for late afternoon drinks, our waiter, through body language and lack of interest, made it very clear we were unwanted guests. I could feel the waiter's contempt, as if we were uncultured suburbanites or site-seeing fanny-pack wearing tourists . He attempted to seat us in an inconvenient location, though there was plenty of good seating availbale. Ordering our drinks was an ordeal as he stood by anxiously for us to order. (I think he was surprised when he heard my french Parisian accent.) What is obviously a great spot ruined by 'le' snob.

Terrible experience
We waited 20 minutes for an open table that we coulve sat eight down in immediately. Ended up outside across from a parking lot...lovely :/ service was terrible. Had to flag the waiter down to order twice, never checked up on us and we waited with eaten plates for another 20 minutes. Finally flagged him down and he had tj be flagged down again!!! After 10 mintues to pick up the check. Food was not good enough for this kind of service. Had the lab chops and were overcooked. Never coming back.

Wonderful atmosphere, lovely service!
My girlfriend and I decided to take a night on the town for just us girls. We went to L'Orange and ended up having an amazing time. The atmosphere was wonderful..a little loud but very fun and entertaining. Our waiter treated us like Queens with free Champagne and wonderful attention. The food was yummy and very light. We tried new things and thoroughly enjoyed our night!

not authentic, and weak flavors
My parents were in town for the weekend, and I had taken them to a few thai and french fusion spots in the city. needless to say they wanted some Moroccan food ( we are Moroccan) and a friend advised me to take them to L'Orange Bleue for good prices and good authentic food. We went, and at first I was pleased. The menu was wonderful with some great-sounding dishes. We started first with a platter of assorted Moroccan salads. Garbage. The hummus was among the worst. As if they put garbanzo beans and parsley and some water in a blender and then served it. No flavor. Nothing. The other items on the platter were eqaully flavorless. The marinated carrots were weak, the 'cigars' which are a classic dish were more like eggrolls. It was even more infuriating that the platter cost about 40 dollars. We decided not to order anything else, and in true Moroccan style, left the place absolutely frustrated and angry. I actually can't believe that the place has ben around for as long as it has.

Awesome experience, awesome everything!
If you want to have a great time, you have to visit this place. Don't expect a romantic dinner, this place is to have fun, eat well and leave happy. I never rate, but I think this place deserves it. Service is great, food is delicious and music is loud, so prepare for a fun time. Can't wait to go back!

what happened to the hookah?
i love this place--one of my favorites, but beware: they're not letting you smoke hookah all of a sudden! must have been something to do with inspections, but let's hope they get whatever "hookah license" back soon!

Delicious
The food was great. Can't wait to come back in the summertime to sit outside.
