I love the Longbow. Great British pub grub, excellent beers, ales, lagers and stouts on draught. Very authentic feel for the place as a British local, with a big football (soccer, for the Yanks) crowd in the pub watching the games from Europe. Michael and Jennifer Colbert the owners are very warm, friendly and hospitable, as are the staff, especially barstaff Jamie and Katie. Best bets are the fish and chips, burgers, bangers and mash, mushy peas, and the full English brekkie on the weekends. They also serve a perfect imperial pint of Wells Bombardier, and I think they are the only pub in the five boroughs that serve Wells, a great English bitter. Try this place - you'll come back, and enjoy savouring a pint in the only Welsh pub in New York City. Cheers!

This place has a really nice welsh rarebit and shepard's pie. The staff are attentive too!

This is a great place, and reasonably priced. However, the food is not consistent. I have returned to this place a few times because myself and my company always loved the food. My most recent visit my food was over-cooked, and far less enjoyable than I remembered. I'm sorry to say I was disappointed this time. Perhaps I should have ordered the Longbow burger because it is always amazing...the chicken was burnt, dry, and soaked in sauce to drown out the fact it was burnt and dry. Sad.

The food is a dollar or two more than you would expect for pub grub in Bay Ridge, but it is worth it. Fantastic fish n' chips, and the burgers are pretty good too. Also a great place to watch soccer.
