    lombardilicious

besides their classic pie being perfection, their calzone is fire. i add meatballs and mushrooms. amazing combination. they deliver quite promptly considering how busy they always are. definitely THE pizza spot downtown. only negative: cash only.

    Best Pizza Ever

After eating the pizza at Lombardi's I will have a hard time ever eating pizza anywhere else.

    Great NYC pizza

My wife and I ate there last week and had a great experience. I think Grimaldi's is still my favorite NYC pizza joint, but this was excellent. We split an OK ceasar salad and shared an excellent 3 topping pizza. Nice service. We were in the front room, which provided a fun late night atmosphere. After dinner we wandered around. Some of the other rooms are Siberia-like, but that may suit those looking for quieter dining. They have a stupid policy to not offer refills on sodas or ice tea. C'mon, what's the deal?

Not the best pizza in Manhattan at all!!

My friend and I, went to Lombardi's last night for the first time, we usually go to Arturo's on Houston Street. Pizza was not that tasty, crust too thin, nothing special about the pizza at all. No compariosn to Arturo's. We will never go there again. It's a good tourist trap...

    Another great visit

We frequently travel and have tried many pizza restaurants. We find the pizza quality to be consistant as well as the service. Sure the place can get a bit crowded but the food makes up for it.

    Expensive? Come on!

All these reviews complaining about the price?? That's crazy - this is Manhattan - and people are complaining that feeding 3-4 people for $20 is a lot? Besides the fact that this pizza is amazing, and the toppings are unlike anywhere else - the price is still not crazy! I'm amazed that people could really be complaining about that at a place as great (and cheap) as Lombardi's

    Still the best

If you love thin crust pizza, this is the place for you. The ratio of crust to toppings to tomato sauce is perfect. The house salad is also surprisingly good. I say "surprising" because salads are usually an afterthought for pizzerias. In this case, the greens are fresh and the viniagrette is tangy.
