    Pizza

Have been going to restaurant for long time. Decided to finally try the clam pie. Disappointed. Clams very tough, too much garlic (and we all love garlic) lemon on certain slices made pie taste funny. Highly recommend sticking to traditional pies.

    Simply the best!

My wife and I were in NYC for the San Genaro Festival. We are from Rochester, NY. We have more than our share of great pies here at home. However, I have to say that if you prefer a super thin NYC style pizza, this is the absolute best you'll ever eat. My only suggestion is that they offer more salad dressings. A simple balsamic, sea salt, fresh ground black pepper, and extra virgin olive oil would be a nice addition.

The sign says "Best on the Planet"

Which Planet? Definitely not Earth! Just got back from our first trip to NYC from Boston. Came across Lombardi's on our trip through Little Italy....We got the White pizza, it was inedible! If you like a heavy ricotta cheese mess on top of your pizza, then you'll love it! The caesar salad was unappetizing too. If this place was good at one time, it isn't anymore. Only good thing was our waiter.

If you want pizza without cheese

If you like pizza without cheese, then this is for you! More than $20 for a pizza where the only item that costs anything is the cheese, and they don't put enough on to cover one entire piece, is a giant ripoff. A native New Yorker and villager, Johns is always my first choice but they don't deliver. A friend recommended Lombardis. Never again. We did order a cheese pizza; they must have neglected that in our order.

    New York City's best pizza!

Take it from a born and bred New Yorker, Lombardi's is the most savory pie in town. The flavors are fresh, delicate and delicious. The sauce is unique, bursting with tomatoes. Highly recommended!

dont know what the heat is all about

The food was okay. not very extraordinary. it is a bit on the pricy side. i think i paid like 7 bucks to get sliced tomatoes and mozzarella cheese, where i can just get at the super market for less than 4 bucks. the pizza was alright, but i think i definitely had better. but if you are one of those that must go see and try the famous lombardis. i say just give it a try. but there are def better pizzerias out there in nyc.

    Great pizza!

Lombardi's has been on my list to try and I recently went there and boy was it worth it! We had their famous Margherita Pizza and it was delicious! The thinness of the dough was to perfection. All the ingredients tasted so fresh and the pizza was very light. Ususally I'll have about two slices and be done but here , I could have at least four! Not that its any smaller from a regualar slice. I guess it had to do with its delicious fresh taste and light texture. Very good! Ever since, I've been craving to go back. I only wish the place was a little bigger.
