I loved pretty much all of my dinner at Locanda Verde - the ricotta crostini is heavenly (it could almost double as a dessert if you added some honey) and I was blown out of the water by the rock shrimp and clam fritto misto, possibly the best fritto misto I've ever had, and the walnut-studded steak tartare. Even though the "My Grandma's Ravioli" was delicious, it was a teensy-weensy portion (maybe a dozen little ravioli with a pea-sized amount of meat filling) which at $18 stood out as not being worth more than a dollar a bite. Service was top-tier, incredibly friendly and knowledgeable (being seated surrounded by celebrities was pretty darn cool too). The room is gorgeous, totally relaxed. I was worried I'd be underdressed in jeans and a sweater and it was completely appropriate.

The food at Locanda Verde was very good. We went on a Monday night for dinner but it was still very busy. Luckily we went early enough to be able to be seated right away without a reservation. The servers were very nice and friendly, and the dishes came out in a timely manner. You should not go there if you are in a rush though, since the waiters seem to get busy.

I can't say enough good things about the experience we had at Locanda Verde last night. The meal highlights were the Duck, fava bean crostini and the lamb sliders. The desserts we split were to die for. The service was impeccable. Basically, a New York City restaurant done right in every way. I can't wait to go back!

Although a bit noisy, sit outside in the courtyard and have the most wonderful dining experience and food. The staff is personable, friendly and gives excellent service. I've taken friends from NYC, out of town and abroad, and all rave about the restaurant. BRAVO to all who make this happen. The wine list is excellent, not overpriced and unusual. The semolier is a gem!

Food was delicious ... plates are a little small for sharing for more than 2 people. Ricotta is delicious and pastas are spot on! Wine list is a little high-priced ... no bottles under $40 -- even Prosecco is $45. Restaurant is warm and welcoming and a great place for a date or dinner and drinks with girlfriends.

The food was delicious, but next time I'd ask for less oil on my dishes -- ricotta was finished with a pool of oil and spaghetti had another pool at the bottom. I loved the pasta, it was cooked perfectly and the combination of plump raisin, pine nuts, cauliflower, lemon, and hot pepper flakes was spot on. I wish they had cheaper wines by the glass and the service was "ok."

I had the ricotta with truffle honey. It was AMAZING! The quality of the coffee is also HIGH!
