Took my son here today for his b-day. Small place, seats about 20. Plenty of choices from soup to dessert. Delicious clam chowder and good lobster. Would definitely return and recommend to friends.

Came for happy hour on a Friday. Got a selection of their sliders for $4 each. The fried oyster was my favorite, but maybe bc I'm a New Orleans native I just couldn't get past the tiny portion. I can't imagine paying full price! I know this is NY, but we are in the depths of Greenpoint, not Manhattan. The lobster was OK, but good value - pretty well stuffed with lobster meat. The $1 oysters were tiny - there are much better $1 oyster deals in the area. The drinks ($16 pitchers during happy hour) were disappointing - got the bourbon tea and vodka lemonade. Very low alcohol content and really sweet. The draft beer is a better value. Service was fantastic. Very friendly. Almost too attentive as the bus boys hovered by our table waiting to give them the OK to clear it, but its better than the alternative. It was already pretty busy by 6pm when we arrived. Our party of 4 grabbed the only open table next to the kitchen - boy, we were sweating! The tables are small and uncomfortable. Won't be back for happy hour. It's a little too far down Manhattan, but am interested in coming back for brunch to try their bloody mary.

Been wanting to try this place, me and the parents went today because they were given $100 gift card. Well that went fast, for 2 dozen oysters, fried clam strips 2 bloody marys and a bibb salad came to $110!! But hey 2 doz oysters guess that was reasonable. I don't eat oysters but my parents are fanatics they said they were soooo good, very fresh tasting. Fried clams were the best I ever had, so tender and not greasy at all. Salad was huge, had blue cheese bacon red onion and croutons for $8 that was a great deal. Mom had crab cakes with onion rings, cakes were soooo good, full of real crabmeat and not a lot of filler. Me and dad shared new england and conneticut lobster roll, both were very good however I preferred the N.E cause I like mayo. Rolls were a little small but had a good amount of lobster packed into them so it's worth it for a once in a while treat. Homeade chips were great add a little malt vinegar and your good to go. You have to order at the counter and they bring the food to you but we don't mind that as long as the food is good. And the staff were really friendly which is such a welcome change from these "I can care less about the customer"attitude that you get from a lot of the places in the greenpoint area. I've lived here my whole life so I've seen the decline in service in a lot of places, the staff here made our experience very pleasant. Last try the lobster claw bloody mary!! A bloody mary with a pickle spear, olives, and a lobster claw you cannot go wrong with that!! Bill came to $185 (really 85 thanks to gc) but for the amount of food and drinks we had was def worth it. Will def be back

I've had lobster rolls from quite a few places in NYC, and I would rate this a 7.5 on a scale of 1-10. It's very good overall, but a little lackluster in lobster flavor. Staff is very friendly and pleasant, prices are a little on the high side, which is mainly their downfall. If u eat it once in a while, your conscience won't kill you!

$40 for 8 oysters.. two mixed drinks and two bowls of soup --- during happy hour!? That is no deal... I understand the price of good shellfish and also the increased rents of GP... but these prices are unacceptable. I wanted to like this place... Almost every price on the menu is a few bucks too much. The bloody mary was amazing. They could work on their service as well. We didn't realize there wasnt table service and no one clued us in for a while - that is their job. They looked right at us while we were sitting and waiting and said nothing. It's the little things...

This place would be better if they had table service. Too many people and not enough help

Had the mac and cheese and lobster roll, I think that came out to around $30. The amount of lobster you get is pretty decent considering the high price tag, but its not very tasty lobster. It's pretty bland all around. The lobster roll tasted solely like mayo, and the lobster was a bit tough. The mac and cheese wasn't unappetizing, but once again the lobster was way overcooked. It's kind of off-putting that they don't have table service, but I don't expect it from a 'shack'.
